I believe they get produce delivery on certain days and if you go on the right day the produce is fresh. It is rather a hit or miss. I always check for the expiry date on the products. Their prices in general for almost all items is always higher than other stores. Not all Indian grocers have the same prices so it is up to the customer to look out for better deals like you would do at other American grocery stores. One con in all Indian stores is that they do not display a price for their products, it is such a hassle to take the items to the front and check prices.

Only the vegetables and the Green Meadows meat section are good. PLEASE CHECK EXPIRATION ON EVERYTHING BEFORE BUYING. Not sure why a health inspector never caught this. Lot of expired and old items on the left side of the store. It is as if that part of the store was acquired from another store and the items were just left there.

bad business, puts all about to rot or rotten vegetables for exorbitant prices for sale. I go here only on emergency even that is disappointing. thank god there are many other indian stores near by.

The MOST OILY FOOD YOU WOULD EVER EAT. Pathetic way of packing food for takeout. And the prices are sky high.

Nice store. But why are prices so different or rather higher than other Vijetha Indian stores in other areas. We expect the prices to be same everywhere. It looks odd to return once the bill is cleared.

I usually shop online from them. They initially sent very good quality fruits and vegetables. And then, it was always one thing bad and then half the things I ordered would not come in. Recently I ordered cucumbers and they sent slimy fungus filled cucumbers. I complained to them and asked to either refund or swap it. I then get a call from them asking me to wash it and use it. I have been trying to follow up with them and have not yet received a refund or a response. I am shocked they would ask me to wash and use these rotten cucumbers!

Is there a star less than one?? I’d give this store that !! Don’t ever order online (door delivery) through this store!!! Worst experience ever! When I added groceries to my cart, the bill says $80 and when my order is delivered they say it’s $90! Fair enough, I understand there will be plus or minus in weight!!! But what’s with sending me 1 Apple when I clearly mentioned 1 pound of apples??? When I looked at my bill they did charge for 1 pound?? When I call the store , the lady that speaks , ugh there’s no courtesy at all!! And I’m 100% sure this store is minting money on online deliveries as the groceries they sent are worst quality , I’m pretty sure they save the worst quality or rotten veggies just for online deliveries!! Well, I think that’s what I get for ordering online to avoid the long lines at these stores !! Lesson learned
