This place is a great store. The only problem is the sour oomph loompa at the front. She hates answering the phone and questions. She's probably hurting Danny's bottom line when they're not there. I for one won't be treated this way! There's plenty of other feed stores local who value their customer over their RUDE employees. Shameful

We're so lucky to have this great business right here in Oak View. I've been dealing with these folks for decades, and have even adopted several of the cats and dogs that they work so hard to find homes for. Their daughter (and resident groomer) Mikaila, is a wonder! They've got everything you need to care for your pets and livestock. Just ask our mini, Archie (below).

I drive past a lot of other feed stores to patronize American Hay. They are great people to deal with from the guys who load up my hay to the owners working the counter. They have a sale on #2 Alfalfa this week!!

Bought our straw bales for gardening here the last few years. Staff is very friendly, however this year the guy who helped us get the straw, was a bit off. He first fell off the top of the two story high stack of bales and hit the side of the truck and said "it happens all the time" when we asked if he was okay. Then he threw the bales from the top of the two story stack into the back of our truck making me think the shocks were going to be damaged. To top it off, we had to pull into the parking lot and restack them, because he left them teetering off the sides. One of the regular employees came out and apologized about the whole senario and helped us reload everything. Love the usual staff, don't know about the other guy, he seemed a bit tweaked.
