Update: Changed rating from four stars to three. I ordered the same thing as my previous review - great crunch, evenly spread out toppings. Sadly the other reviewer was correct - they changed their crust recipe and possibly the marinara sauce. It's like having pizza with a head cold. The addictive element is gone. Not sure why you'd mess with a recipe 25+ years old? Previous Review: They started up in Chico and lucky for us they brought it down here to feed your face. Great pizza by the slice - crunchy crust and tasty toppings. If they have the "Godfather" out for pizza by the slice - grab one! The "Tom Jones" and the "White" pizzas are my usual choice. The meatball sandwich is also something to give a go. The menu has something for pretty much everyone...salads, calzone, pasta.

Being from NY, I tried the pizza recently and it was great, like NY pizza. Went in yesterday and the pizza was terrible: terrible crust, very little sauce and skimpy toppings compared to initial visit. I called and spoke to manager and he told me it was my problem. H e admitted that they recently CHANGED their recipe and reduced the toppings and sauce, etc. So it isn't me, but he didn't care what I thought of the change. Last time for me. The rest of the pizza went into the trash. It may have been NY pizza in the past, but no more. The search goes on.

Great pizza place. Plenty of room inside and a patio. Staff was very friendly and inside was very clean. I dont know the whole menu but I walked in, they had some ready made pies (buy by the slice) with descriptions. Bought me few slices and even added some ingredients..they threw them bad boys back in the oven and few minutes later I was eating some great pizza!! I had a slice of Tom Jones (pepperoni, sausage n Canadian bacon) I also had a slice of Mushroom and added some pepperoni...AND IT WAS AWSOME!! I could've eating the mushroom itself again...so good. I also was able to buy a pint of beer and watch some baseball on several TVs inside. I will be back! This i guarantee 💯

I got three pizza to try out: white sauce pizza, Hawaiian pizza, and mushroom pizza. The white sauce pizza and Hawaiian pizza had a good crunch due to its thin crust, each bite the texture carrys. The mushroom pizza was a bit soggy, wasn't crunchy as the others but it was less oily than the other two with a strong mushroom and Italian seasoning flavor. The white sauce had a strong garlic taste with Italian seasoning, and the cheese on top of it helped mellow it down. Even with the downside in some pizza with the inconsistent texture, the flavor still carries. Definitely a go to place for a NY Style Pizza

My favorite Pizza in the area. Quality ingredients make the best pizzas and you can tell that Celstino's does not skimp on the quality or quantity of the ingredients they use in their pizzas. They have slices to go if you want to grab a quick bite but I always get myself a Pepperoni Special (Pepperoni, Tomato, Garlic, Basil) or a Danny Devito (Pepperoni, Ricotta, Garlic) and they always come out fresh and the crust is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside with lots of fresh toppings. Service is always great and they do have a big dining area with lots of TVs playing sports so if you're looking for a place with good pizza and a relaxing, fun atmostphere, look no further than Celstino's!

Prices gone up Quality gone down. Size of pies way smaller. Now they use a pizza docker? Good bye its been fun. The search is back on for a ny style pie.

We were picking up for Doordash and hubby always gets a couple slices for himself. Only pizza place we know of that will sell by the slice. Good pizza!!

First time here and my impressions. Friendly staff. Take out orders take ~15 mins after placing order. There's a gentlemen who calls your name out once your order is ready for pickup. He's quite loud and it really helps in a crowded place. I ordered the combo specialty pizza. Med. sized and it cost ~$27. The pizza looks good. The pie crust is good but the middle section is undercooked... and not crispy. You can definitely fold the pizza New York style. The ingredients from what I can tell is fresh. Didn't quite tasted the pizza sauce. Either not much sauce or the flavor is too mild for me. So my experience is average. I will try the other offerings next time. I believe you can order pizza per slice here so you can try a lot in one visit. The inside of the restaurant is nice and clean. I see the staff clean the tables often. I did noticed they have a lot of pizza boxes. Some are in the main dining room as well.

Most likely the best legit pizza in the Roseville/Rocklin area. I like that they don't use too much cornmeal on the bottom like a lot of NY pizzerias do. Their "classics" pizzas are true to NY style with just a few toppings. My favorite is the Pepperoni Special (pictured) with red sauce (which is awesome), mozzarella, pepperoni, diced garlic, basil, and fresh diced tomatoes. Killer crust and the perfect amount of toppings. The Danny Devito is another one of their killer "classics" pizzas. Do yourself a favor and try this place.

Great prices. Great food. Great service. The cheese steak sandwich and salad combo can be shared and still leave you stuffed. I would recommend, requesting the roll be grilled longer and adding extra cheese. Then this would be a five star place. It's hidden in a plaza off Standford Ranch Rd. The cashier was helpful and recommending several options. The salads are huge, perfect for two people. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY
