I was a good experience. The Walmart is a huge store. So many things to see. There's a deli, a bakery. Pharmacy. They sell groceries. As well as clothing for everyone. There's even a nursery. There's a self check out on both sides of the store pluss checkers in between. By far the best Walmart I've been too. And if you go later like I did around 8 pm. The store was not busy at all. Either way, I do shop here often, and I do get curbside pick up a lot. Their curbside pickup staff is usually quick to get your order out to your car and friendly - can't really complain!

IT'S NOT JUST GROCERIES! I went to this store this morning intent on getting my 5 year old daughter some relief for her fever. What I left with was frustration, anger, and some very unlikely to ever return sentiments. Let me state for the record your honor, that I was in a super fabulous mood when I brought my groceries to the checkout lane. As I always seem to do, I left with much more than what I came for; isn't that the fun of shopping though? When I went to checkout, I immediately told the employee at the register that I wanted to split up my purchase. Half credit half debit. I ( I don't care if that might not be a complete sentence haha). As fate would have it, I landed on a relatively new employee who ended up putting the entire balance on the debit card. Thankfully, I didn't input the credit card first or I would have had to pay What's Not In My Wallet an over the limit fee. 🙃 . I told the employee that I would need a refund and to start over. Well, understandably so, another employee came over and handed me the receipt and instructed me to go to customer service. Why couldn't they fix their mistake at the register instead of making me trek over to "customer service 😒" ? I imagine it had something to do with not wanting to hold up the line. That's akin to being in a drive-thru and the employee asks you to pull off to the designated area to wait for your order. I hate that! Anyways, back to the rant. I pushed my wobbly 30 year old shopping cart which was my second choice as I spent 10 minutes with a heavy basket before switching to a cart, to the customer harassment center. Oh by the way, earlier, I had to ask for help to get a glass case unlocked to free the pedialyte I wanted for my little princess. That was mildly annoying 😒 ,but I got over THAT. So this very impatient 🙄 employee instructed me to pull my bags out of the grocery cart and place them on the counter. ( two bags ? Customer service meant they could have grabbed the bags out the cart as a gesture of peace keeping. Beyond this point, it's all a " blur " as my frustration was bubbling over. It was not a friendly, " I'm sorry for this" or let's see if we can get this fixed ". No, it was make the customer feel like they did something wrong and make them feel unappreciated. 5 minutes later my ordeal with the Not So Much Customer Service Center was over and I was finally on my way to leave the store and get my little angel some fever relief. However, my experience was not over as I felt compelled to voice my "thoughts " about it all to what coulda woulda shoulda been a manager. I told them I didn't appreciate what just happened. The response I got was " IT'S JUST GROCERIES". I answered this brain-dead retort with a " no it's about time! " ( my time). Time and a million other things that I didn't care to share with the employee. Customer service is and always will be about expecting a pleasant and respectful experience. Anything less and it's " Houston, we have a problem".

I am done with this Walmart. Customer service is horrible and the fruit is always rotten. They even go so far as to hide the rotten fruit in the middle so when you get home you paid your money and half of the fruit is already bad. They don't bother to answer the phones to make it right, their store is filthy dirty, and there is never anything stocked on the shelves. They're always out of so many things it's ridiculous. I will not be back.

If you only going to use one checker, at least get a competent one. With two giant baskets in front of me, i tried self checkout. Half way thru system locks up for “scale”? No help i walked out. If i wanted to be a checker/bagger i would have started when i was young. Its a great union. But as I’m 68 years old i will go shop at a live checker store. Sad thing is, i like the store. Wide aisles and i know where everything is. Fun while it lasted. Nugget here i come

I couldn't find an item, one employee stopped stocking the shelves and walked me to the area to find my product. The shelves were well stocked from what I saw. A truck was there delivering additional items. There is an employee there named Jeannette. She is always smiling and willing to assist the shoppers. Nice clean not to busy neighborhood Walmart. There were a few nicely discounted items in the baby section. All the formula is locked up. I don't bother buying formula or diapers here. Don't have time to get someone to unlock the formula and diapers are about a dollar to two dollars more then target. Discounted meat is awesome. Was able to get three rib eye steaks for $20, marked down from $32. Promotional baby shampoo was on sale today also. Went ahead and purchased a few. I plan to return to this Walmart.

Even though it's a Neighborhood Walmart, I do prefer it better than the larger. I just tried out the online shopping here and I was so pleasantly pleased! They had all I needed and the gal that delivered it to my car was the sweetest! So happy this store is the closet to me now.
