I had the classic and criss cross fries. Unfortunately, neither were good, just passable. Staff were friendly. I do not recommend, much better options for similar price point in the vicinity.

As a previous Philly resident, best I’ve had in the city! If to go I always get the mushroom steak with white american cheese with whiz on the side — less soggy. Solid wings, too!

This place WAS the gold standard for a large part of, if not the entire bay area outside of Philly when the original owners opened this place. I'm not from Philly but I've spent weeks there while at conferences and made it a point to try about a dozen different places there to get a taste of what they serve. We'd drive the entire family out just to eat there, it WAS that good. After it was sold some years back it has been nothing but a steady decline in product quality and product offerings. They got rid of the authentic (albeit pricier) authentic Philly soda and variety of chips from back east. They got rid of the great choices of peppers and Gardiniera, and the quality of meat also took a nosedive. Sadly we just don't even bother going and I would never send anyone I know there, and I won't send you.

The best? No way! Frozen steak like a Steakum from yesteryear. It’s not the cleanest place I’ve ever seen either. I had the 12” Steak and cheese with Garlic mayo. Good taste and not full of grease!!! Inflated California prices as with most restaurants... you would get more meat for the cost back east. But I recommend this place if you like variety in your steak subs.

This place is so good, really, really pleasant. I was craving for a philly cheese stake, PHILLY style, and they didn't let me down even in California. I brought my sister with me and she loved, it was the first time for her eating philly cheesesteak, thank you all. I plan to come back soon.

Best philly cheesesteak in SF. Great options the beer cheese is delicious. You have to try the Hangover Cure fries the gooey cheese, bacon, and onions. Good selection of beer and soda. Great service!
