The place has a really friendly staff!!The Chicken was good, and I enjoyed that their Coleslaw is more savory like a Potato Salad than sweet like KFC.. The price-point was a bit much for the size of the portions though..

The grilled chicken was better than the fried chicken. I really enjoyed the corn salad but the rice and the bean sides were nothing special. Service was quite fast but the cashier seemed a little inexperienced and it would have been easier if I spoke better Spanish or she spoke better English. Overall, I'm glad I tried it but it wasn't a meal to seek out in the future. Portions seemed a little small. It was certainly good enough to eat again if I was in the area or if I needed something to take to a potluck.

Hold off the salt!! The taste of the seasoning is flavorful but WAY too much salt was added. However, I do appreciate how juicy the meat was. The meat was wonderful and if you could just hold back on the salt and let the natural flavor of the meat come through then bravo. Some reviews here say that the skin is not crispy and to me, there's two reasons to this. The batter is thin if any, which can be good. I do enjoy a thin batter myself as opposed to the bigger chains where the skin is indiscernible from the batter. But that also means the skin gets soft quicker. However, I believe Pollo Campero's issue is that the oil needs to be changed more often. You can taste the "old oil" taste in the skin and it's not fresh. The meat was perfectly cooked so they have the cook time down. There's just these two small changes that needs to happen for Pollo Campero to be THE fried chicken spot in SF.

Delicious every single time I've ordered it at work. They deliver to your place of employment or home. The empanadas are to die for and the chicken and chicken sandwiches are cooked perfectly never dry. Give them a try if you haven't, you won't be disappointed.

I went to this place and the kick me out because they needed the table for seating more ppl ( I was done eating and when I payed the guy say anything else for you? I say no thanks it was really good! The guy say ok I need the table 5 ppl waiting to get seat

Pollo campero in Guatemala is a tradition, it’s got this very special flavor and it’s delicious. Most people complain that the US version is not as good, but the one in the mission was fantastic! Try the plantains if you can.
