This station has good quality gas for a better price than name-brand gas stations, plus they'll apply a discount based on the points received from Safeway shopping. I don't buy gas anywhere else in South Lake Tahoe.

Short version: IF YOU PREPAY FOR GAS AT THE REGISTER, YOU HAVE TO GO BACK IN FOR THE REFUND. IT IS NOT DONE AUTOMATICALLY. I prepaid for gas at the register because the card reader at the pump wasn’t working. In every case I’ve done this before, the difference automatically has been refunded to the card. After a week, I realized this hadn’t happened. Called the station, to learn that their system is old so you have to come back in to get the refund directly. They said the worker is supposed to tell you this when you pay at the register, but this did not happen. At the very least there needs to be a sign indicating this, because this is not how it works at all the other gas stations where I’ve pre paid inside. Also, it was too late to get a refund, apparently they only keep records for a day or two, which is way too short a time period given the amount of time it takes for credit card transactions to finish processing. Overall, a real bummer of a way to lose money. I certainly could’ve been more careful but I think it’s mostly due to the gas station’s lack of care for customers. As other people say though, it at least is one of the more affordable stations in the area.

Good that it's open 24 hours. Loved the location due to easy access from the main road. Very smooth experience. It has several gas stations with pretty wide space between them. Rest of the gas stations in the area seemed to be costlier. So this one's a good choice. There's an Air station at the corner and a small Safeway store.

Usually not very crowded and you don't have to wait in line to find an open pump. However, you need to go at the correct time of day. I go before 11:00 am, or after 2:00 pm until 5:00, or in the evening. The station is open 24/7 but if you don't use a credit/debit card and you have to go inside to pay, that's fine too but once in a while the lock the doors for inventory. All in all the station is a great choice here in Tahoe.
