I came in to purchase a gift for my aunt. I found a great looking BR green pattern silk scarf. At the checkout. Mario the BR staff was very helpful and friendly. He took the time to thank me for coming in. He mentioned he is happy to wrap my gift. And he carefully enclosed it in a beautiful box lined with tissue. He was very efficient and I was able to quickly transact and be on my way. I know people like Mario don’t often get the recognition but I wanted to take the moment to do so. There is the sterile online 24/7 store. However I still value to personal face to face interaction being in BR “brick and mortar” because it’s an important part of the consumer shopping experience. Feeling the fabric. Being able to try things on. And also having in-person interaction with exemplary folks such as Mario at the Broadway Walnut Creek. Well done to Walnut Creek CA managers and staff! I will definitely return.

The staff here really are so incredibly helpful. Came on a Sunday afternoon when they were super busy, and even still every last person I interacted with (at least 5 separate employees) were incredibly helpful, courteous, and welcoming. Banana Republic should give everyone here a raise since it definitely lead to a purchase in this instance 😉

Francesca, Marie, and Fatimah made our shopping experience special at Banana Republic! Francesca picked out excellent clothes that fit my style and Marie provided great feedback on my clothes that made me feel confident in my choices. Fatimah was great and worked with me on ordering more of the same style pants. It was me and my mom’s first time shopping for clothes since the pandemic started and I really appreciated that the staff made it special. Thank you so much!

Solid BR in nice area. Parking is tough. Street parking is enforced until 8pm on weekdays but there are garages within a few blocks

I really like the staff at this store. Everyone is really friendly and helpful. The store itself is really clean and they have a nice sale section for women in the back. The petites section is small but you can ask them to order anything for you online and it’s usually free shipping.

I recently did a pretty major shopping spree at Banana. I love their clothes and if this was a review of that it would likely be 5 stars. But as a store, not quite as impressed. Granted, it was over the holidays. But the customer service was virtually non-existent even when the store wasn't overly busy. I felt like the employees did their job, but by and large didn't go the extra mile to provide great service. If that's the case, why not just buy online? A couple of employees did a great job helping me figure out some returns and credits. But every time I asked a question about clothing (location, stock, etc.) the employee couldn't provide an answer and in a couple of cases didn't even try to find someone who would have one. I'll still go back since I'm a Luxe member but this is definitely not the same quality of service as you'd get at their San Francisco store.
