I came in to purchase a gift for my aunt. I found a great looking BR green pattern silk scarf. At the checkout. Mario the BR staff was very helpful and friendly. He took the time to thank me for coming in. He mentioned he is happy to wrap my gift. And he carefully enclosed it in a beautiful box lined with tissue. He was very efficient and I was able to quickly transact and be on my way. I know people like Mario don’t often get the recognition but I wanted to take the moment to do so. There is the sterile online 24/7 store. However I still value to personal face to face interaction being in BR “brick and mortar” because it’s an important part of the consumer shopping experience. Feeling the fabric. Being able to try things on. And also having in-person interaction with exemplary folks such as Mario at the Broadway Walnut Creek.
