My husband and I recently adopted two of the sweetest kittens from here that we absolutely adore. When we got them home they both showed signs of a respiratory infection; we called the shelter and they immediately made a free appointment for the kittens to be treated which is GREAT. We also love that they offer a first vet exam for free for the animals adopted. However, we were both disappointed with the lack of knowledge & professionalism from the woman who helped us. She was moving at a slow pace with everything - we told her the name of the cat we were interested in and she wasn’t familiar with that cat (despite us literally seeing the cat and it’s name right outside the room) so she brought us a different cat instead, she took 15 minutes to bring a kitten to our meet and greet room. She also suggested that we only get one kitten because two might not get along (other shelters in the area suggested getting two kittens for companionship so this just seemed off). Overall we’re happy with this organization! Just wish the worker was more helpful.

The Buddy Center has quite a few kittens, rabbits and guinea pigs available for adoption. We were looking for a dog, though. Unfortunately we did not find a suitable companion, but they had several dogs available. All of the animals were well cared for and everything was very clean. The staff are knowledgeable and very helpful.

Had a curious and wandering pup get out of our backyard. He was found by a neighbor and their kids and taken to the Buddy Center. We got checked in and got him back within 15 minutes. Very clean and modern facility. The staff take care of the animals and pretty good customer service, too. Happy this site is in Castle Rock.

All of the volunteers and workers are super nice, and helpful. They are very knowledgeable and seem to have these animals' best interest at heart. I adopted Lillie in Janurary, and she is my best friend. I hope I speak for Lillie and myself (lol) when I say it feels like we were made for eachother. I love our little family.

Wonderful space, well managed with animals in good condition. Our adoption has been a joy and our lives improved with her addition. Further, it was a pleasant surprise to receive a follow up call from staff to make certain thar we and our new family member were all well and happy, which we were. A great experience.

The best boy, living the best life! Thanks to one of the volunteers, Susan, we were able to give this guy an amazing home. The staff were very kind and made the process of adoption very easy. We are grateful for our boy and giving him the best life possible (which includes tons of tennis balls!).

Found my best friend here. The animals seem well cared for and the employee who we worked with really cared about the welfare of the dog. After two years of owning my pup I couldn't be happier. This will be my first stop once I have the available time and space to adopt a second dog.

Best adoption experience ever! The building was very nice and exceptionally clean. Almost all the animals available are behind glass so you can see their enclosures, and they were all extremely well taken care of. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about the animals and was so patient with all my questions and asking to meet multiple pets. I was given the information about all the animals up front and then given one on one time in a visitors room with each. They were also extremely up front about any potential behavior problems. I could not recommend Dumb Friends League enough.
