Abbie and Julie were incredible to work with! My wedding dress needed A LOT of alterations before it fit me correctly. They took their time and made sure that I had input for every step of the way. Abbie also added a really beautiful three point bustle that enhanced everything about the dress and was easy to do and undo for photos. The dress turned out even better than I could have ever imagined and I got tons of compliments on the big day. I needed help with resizing my leather chaps and leather vest. Abbey and her team did an amazing job reworking the leather to give me a custom fit. The turn around time was quick and I was able to wear my garments to a motorcycle rally. I also really enjoy the creative get togethers they host. The space is very warm and inviting. Great time to get together with my friends and make some beautiful crafts. Also the vintage pieces they sell are amazing. The entire sustainable concept LE creates is so wonderful for patrons and the planet. I highly recommend!!! This alteration shop stole from me. I was given a quote for the dress, then they didn't factor in the deposit and charged me extra (you pay a deposit then rest of the payment during pickup of garment); I also tipped well. I had to call on the last day before my flight because they hadn't followed up about a fitting or finishing the dress. They hadn't started it yet. I had to stress that I was leaving for the wedding and needed it completed by the time they said it would be done. The seamstress finished the seams, but didn't have me try it on afterward and gave it to me in the bag. I've never had anything altered and thought this was normal. Later that night I realized there were multiple seams that hadn't been stitched, and the dress was still far too big. The bride (my SIL) had to hand stitch it poorly herself the day before the wedding, because she had the best chance of making it look presentable. I reached out twice by email and never got a response. I reached out months later by Instagram, and Abby personally told me she'd heard nothing about this, before deleting my comment. I don't want to hurt a small local business, but I was overcharged for unfinished work, and then the business refused to address the problem. This was theft. They've had a year to fix this and I warned that I would post this review. I have screenshots and pictures of everything I just claimed. Please save yourself from being overcharged for no completed services. Service: Dress alterations

I would suggest Lavendar Elephant to anyone in need of help with any kind of clothing. I have used them for every bridesmaid dress (3 just this summer!) I’ve needed alterations and adjustments on and will always go to them in the future. Abbey and her team are amazing at helping you find exactly how to make that dress just right. Simply put, Abbey does incredible work. I recently hired her to make a small, but very important on-site repair for a custom suit. I was absolutely blown away by her commitment to meeting my (extremely) tight deadline, and her skill. She even brought her trusted vintage sewing machine with her! I can't recommend Lavender Elephant enough.

Abbey was my wedding planner from start to finish for our wedding on Copper Mountain, CO. We were originally going to get married in the Virgin Islands, but a series of events led us to change our minds and choose Colorado barely only 4 months before our wedding date. My friend that lives in Winter Park, CO recommended Abbey, and from day one she took off with a calm, cool, collected demeanor and creativity that I loved! Every time I was on the ledge, freaking out about the tiniest detail, Abbey was there to talk me down and assume responsibility for things that I found too overwhelming. I am NOT a party planner, but Abbey is a great one. From realizing my dreams and helping make sure I had the right flowers, greenery, podiums, candles, etc. Abbey really shined and worked so hard on our wedding day that I didn't even worry about a single thing. People kept complimenting us on all kinds of things in the wedding, one of which was how smoothly the day went and how beautiful the decor and scenery was. I am very happy I got to be Abbey's first wedding from start to finish, and you would have never known she was newer to planning because she really pulled it off! I loved working with you Abbey! Thank you for helping make our wedding the best day of our lives so far!
