I am a regular at Dimitri’s, and the food is generally good. I almost never leave any review, positive or negative, bot tonight cries out for comment. It was EXTREMELY disappointing. We arrived about 7:15. My dining partner ordered fish and chips. I ordered a small Margherita pizza. We left at 8:30 - ONE HOUR AND 15 MINUTES LATER.- without having been served. We will not be returning on a Friday any time soon.

The floor plan has changed since the last time I was there. The tiny bar and few tables in the back have been migrated to a much larger bar and several tables to the right as you really in. This makes for a brighter and much more enjoyable bar experience. I only glanced in the dining area and it looked fine. There's still outdoor seating as well. Hours have changed, at least temporarily, so check before you go. I'm a creature of habit and think I have only had the Gyro in all of my years of going there, but went with a Firehouse Burger and a big ol' pile of curly fries. I was happy with that choice and may repeat it for my next visit. I'm an out of towner who is only in Coventry a handful of times a year and I'm happy they spruced up my "regular" chomping grounds.

Called ahead for 4 small chocolate milkshakes for a birthday/mother's day treat got told 25 minutes so we took the kids to play across the street, show up almost a half hour later and they completely forgot about my order then I proceeded to wait another almost half hour inside for my milkshakes, not happy at all I can completely understand being understaffed but give more accurate wait times and no milkshake should take an hour! On top of waiting our chocolate milkshakes had zero chocolate taste...will not be going back no matter how much I want a milkshake

Met friends for dinner, had a wonderful meal, place has a nice warm cozy feel to it food was reasonably priced, good portions, Paul you got gray!

Wait was rather long for takeout. Got calamari and a gyro. The calamari was overly chewy though I did like the touch of the fried banana and hot peppers with it. The gyro was also very disappointing especially for the price. I've had similar gyro out of a frozen kit from the grocery store. It was my first time at Dimitri's and I won't be going back any time soon unfortunately.

When I visit my parents in town. We always get lunch here. Take out pizza. They are best in town. Prices are fair and pizza always good. Have not tried dining or anything but pizza.
