Place is clean. Staff is courteous and prompt for customer service. The huge plus that gets a 5 star rating is the branch is hardly busy and you don't have to wait since there are barely any customers.

This branch of Chase bank is atrocious. My in laws opened an account recently, and went in to as my mother in law as an authorized user. They were greeted by Bonnie, who didn't even take them to a personal room to discuss sensitive information (which I know is the protocol as I hid just gone through the process of having my husband added as an authorized user to my account). Bonnie had a rude, cold and negative demeanor towards my Muslim Hijabi mother in law and treated her in a manner that was uncalled for.

250k in that account and I cannot access my funds there without my debit card. I don’t use this account. 1X a year at most. I have my DL + SS + DOB and can log in online. On top of that, I had more identification if needed. Would not let me access a 1.00. (Needed the debit card. I don’t carry debit cards). Went to West Hartford. She logged in instantly (without card) and accessed the account. They’re entitled in Enfield and it’s a joke. I can’t believe Chase has people working like this in Enfield. Account closed that I created there. Wonder why they have a 2 star rating. Open with another bank or branch.

The customer service we received from the banker was absolutely horrible. We waited for 29 minutes while the two bankers talked in the office to only tell us she had an appointment coming in 5 minutes and the other person had one coming in 45 minutes. We ended up calling customer to get our question answered. Definitely won’t be visiting this branch again. I wish 0 stars was an option.

Had an appointment to open up a credit card and debit card for me and the wife in the Enfield CT branch. My intention was to take advantage of the 5% cash back on groceries. The banker completely botched the whole thing. The 5% I was put under was travel....I don't travel. I was very explicit about this. Still have not received debit and credit cards for my wife, have not received any PINs for the debit cards. When I tried to call the branch (3 times), no one answered the phone and it reverted to a 800 number. Exasperating to say the least. if you insist on Chase, go to another branch. I don't believe the banker is competent.

Chase Bank is the worst bank I have ever worked with! Their customer service is horrible! Don't even try to do anything through their customer service call center because you get transferred multiple times and it is anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour hold every time you get transferred and then when someone finally goes to take your call they hang up on you. Going to the actual branch is a waste of time because they can never help you there either. When I first opened my bank account it took a month and three requests to get a debit card because they kept screwing it up. Now I have been fighting them for 2 days to release my money so I can pay tuition. If it were possible they would be getting a negative 10 stars from me. I will definitely be closing my account and going elsewhere!
