Avoid at all costs A-ONE Towing, who operates out of this location. On Saturday morning a would-be thief tried to steal my car using A-ONE Towing. He reported that "his" car had broken down and he requested that it be towed to an address elsewhere in the city. Without checking any identification, proof of ownership, or asking for the key, the towing company was preparing to tow my car. Fortunately, a neighbor of mine was out walking; she intervened and the the would-be thief took off after the towing company returned his cash payment to him. This towing operator was either very sloppy in his procedures or might even have been complicit in this crime.

I was in DC for business from out of town and one of my tires starting going flat. I called them and they said to come right over. They got my truck into a bay fixed my tire(had a nail in it) and changed the oil at same time. I was in and out in half an hour and was shocked how reasonable the charge was. I highly recommend this place! Service: Oil change

Georgetown Shell is a honest repair station to take your car too. They have great technicians that are knowledgeable about today's autos, even with the advanced technologies in cars, they will get your vehicle fixed right the first time, and back to you on time. The station is managed very efficiently by Ms. Elizabeth, who is a retired ex- mechanic that provides her customers with the excellent service that they expect. The even have free air.

The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing here. My car had more damage when it came out than it did going in. The people during the week are pleasant and efficient but dunderheads work the weekend. I was told my car was ready by one person, only to hear another say it was too dangerous to drive. Totally awful, expensive repair. They came to my rescue in an emergency but never again.

I'm glad to say that Georgetown Shell has returned to stellar service and reasonable prices. After Bobby moved on a few years ago, the place declined under poor management and I had to stop using it. Some months ago, I called to see whether management might have changed. Thankfully, it had. Now that Elizabeth is managing the repair shop, things are back on track. I've brought my car in for a number of things over the last few months and have had a great experience every time. While traveling to DC with family we woke up to a flat tire. I had enough air to get to Metro Motor who quickly repaired it. Reasonably priced, and professional. They saved our family trip. Can't thank them enough for such outstanding service. Highly recommend. Service: Tires

I need to give a serious shout out to the manager Elizabeth, who was consistently above and beyond helpful tracking down specialized parts, managing a long list of maintenance and repair items, and always staying in touch with the proceedings. She is upbeat, fast, and on it. My car drives literally like brand new again, and I could not be happier. Thank you all very much. I was visiting my daughters during parents weekend and woke to a flat tire! By the time my tow arrived, this shop was about to close. Their guys were so kind - they took the time to look at at my tire and were able to fix/plug it so I could get safely back to Kentucky. Great, great service! Service: Tires
