Thieves! Don't place online orders with USPS delivery. They will lie and say they attempted delivery, then you never receive your package. Every carrier should be fired immediately!

Please shut this place down my package was stolen by the mail carrier and i payed for two day shipping it never showed up then i went to the post office ask about it they say the carrier still has it so its been stolen for sure im going to email the news and the mayor

THIS IS THE WORST AND DIRTY PO AND MUST BE SHUT DOWN FOR 6 MONTHS TO DO A COMPLETE INVESTIGATION ON MIS-DELIVERY MAIL AND STEALING MY PACKAGES. LINES ARE ALWAYS OUT THE DOOR WITH 1 CLERK AT THE WINDOW. I TAKE MY MAIL TO NW TO MAKE SURE IT WILL BE DELIVERED SAFE AND ONTIME. THIS PO NEEDS TO BE EXPOSE TO THE ALL NEWS CHANNELS.

This place needs to be under investigation. So, I receive a text message stating that my package can’t be delivered because my home address is incomplete. Guess what? I click on the message just to see that it does state my correct address. However, I now have to pay a $3 redelivery fee to have my package that did have my correct address on it sent to me. The supervisor needs to be thoroughly looked into because I smell FRAUDULENT activity.

this place could care less about other people's mail or anything for that matter. I called them a day ago after they didn't deliver my package, they said they would re-deliver today 04/05/21 & STILL my package is not here. this is very sad. the mail lady is ghetto, when I called yesterday the lady I spoke to had another lady on the phone or in the background (which was the mail lady), she was yelling acting like it was my fault why my package didn't get delivered lol this place needs to be shut down. this location per say. its very sad that people spend their money & then this specific post office keeps the packages. they don't do their job.

This location has a number of issues that need to be resolved. It needs a complete renovation as the post office looks run down and unsanitary. It always opens late. The staff is very unprofessional and lacks customer service skills. There is no accountability

The PO located at 400 Southern Ave SE WDC, is consistently closing early and not opening on time. The have no money orders and no stamps. How is this possible and why is this tolerated? USPS, please correct this issue.

The Worst Post Office In DC!!! Today is the 5th day that I am still without mail, The mail carrier haven’t been here in days, I called up here and they said “Oh we have a delay, the mail carrier will be there today” STILL NO ONE.So I went up there and the lady at the counter was rude and said “I don’t know, call this number” she gave me the same number on the website LOL this place is sad! So Day 6 and still waiting on my mail. If it don’t come today I will be contacting HR, hopefully that works.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I came to this post office on a Saturday morning around 10:53 am. The hours of operation for Saturdays are supposed to be 9 am-2 pm. When I arrived, there was a sign on the door that stated they were closing at 11 am, but the door was already locked SEVEN MINUTES BEFORE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO CLOSE. An employee came to the door to let me know they were closed, VERY RUDELY. This was a complete inconvenience since Saturdays are the only days I can get to the post office. It shouldn't matter what area we're in, we deserve some quality customer service and people who actually want to work. This needs to be fixed ASAP!

Lived in this area my entire life, 30 plus years. Hands down, worst mail service in the area. I get so disappointed when I order online and it says USPS is the carrier. This location always uses the excuse/lies stating they couldn't access the location, when they never even tried. They don't follow delivery instructions. They also don't update your tracking info, so you have no idea when your package will arrive, increasing the chances of theft. And don't get me started on the in-store service. From standing in line unnecessarily long, to providing your ID and getting someone else's mail. To make it worse, USPS doesn't give a cr@p.
