Pleasantly surprised. Went in thinking I needed a new alternator as told by auto parts store test. Phil at front desk said okay, but let me check it out closer first. He did a more extensive electrical test, found alternator to be mid-range, not at a "must have" state. Very nice, said keep an eye on it and that was that. Saved me $500+. Since I'm out of town I was grateful for a positive honest experience. Thank you Phil!

I had a oil change done in Tallahasse and traveled to Atlanta, Tampa, and Orlando. The tech that did my oil change did not tighten down my under engine cover, it almost completely fell off. Phil the pep boys tech had a full shop and made room for me and replaced the screws free of charge! I am so happy with his assistance and helpfulness! I would recommend this shop to everyone!!

Had a flat tire and made appointment at 10am, I arrived and instantly the guy there had a attitude. I told him I had a appointment and at 10 and he instantly replied well your not gonna be seen until 3pm?? No sorry or nothing. Left immediately and went down the road to another tire shop who took me as soon as I walked in and finished within a half a hour. And also gave a better price then this place. Would never go back again.

Visited here twice and never again. First time was for my break pads they had my car for the full day and when they were done with the diagnostic they said nothing was wrong. I took my car somewhere else for another diagnostic and turned out I needed a new break booster. Second time I brought it here was for a simple oil change. I booked AN APPOINTMENT ahead of time for 11am. I get there and was told it would be another 3 hours before my car was worked on. What is the point of an appointment then? Will not be returning and don’t advise anyone to go here

I left my car to check the A/C and the told me that the problem was the fan. And to fix it was $1200. I told them that I replaced the fan no more than a year ago trying to fix the issue but didn’t fix it. I asked what is the next step? They told me that is the only thing that need replacement. I had to geld them to give me the car without repair and the still charged me $60 for diagnostics. The same day took the car for a second opinion and the other shop told me that one of the fan plugs were unplugged, and that they plugged it back and didn’t wanted to charge me at all. Unbelievable! Forgot to mention that I asked to talk with the AC Tech before leaving the place and the manager told me that he had to rush to the hospital to take care of his family. What a coincidence. That only let me know that they have no AC Tech at all. I didn’t bite that one. Thanks to God that He had an Angel waiting for me in the other shop and was able to fix the problem for free. For sure I will stick with the other shop for ever. And never come back here.
