Worst experience ever! We rented a boat and it took on water and almost sank before getting off the dock. The next one did the same but out in open water. He came and pulled it back, still charged us and tried to say we caused the pontoon to lead somehow. All of their boats are old and in poor condition. They owner/operator is dishonest!

We rented a pontoon boat from Jerry July 4 for a spontaneous vacation get away. We first visited Dog Island and enjoyed both the bay side beach and the gulf side beach. Afterward, we traveled up the river into Tate's Hell to see what old untouched Florida looks like. It was amazing! I highly recommend this company to anyone. Jerry and Larry were great to work with and the whole trip was very reasonably priced!

We had a great time renting from Jerry and his crew. Jerry took about an hour to explain in detail everything we needed to know for our journey into unknown waters. His dock crew were wonderful people and extremely helpful with loading and unloading our coolers and bags. We spent the entire day at Dog Island where my teenage boys caught fish and we had dolphins come up to the beach and play with us! It was a much needed relaxing day for my family! Thank you to Jerry and staff for making it a day to remember!

DON'T LET THE CHEAP PRICES LURE YOU IN! OR HIS REPLIES SAYING HE BOUGHT" NEW " BOATS! The pontoon boats are unsafe and nasty! Jerry will lure you in with VERY cheap prices and you will leave very disappointed. Do not pay for anything without seeing the equipment first. Don't let his replies saying that he bought " new " boats fool you. We did! If these boats are " new" then the old ones probably barely floated. Please read all reviews on Google and trip advisor before renting from Jerry. The boat we rented didn't have enough life jackets or a ladder! It had Rips in EVERY seat. The doors wouldn't close

Rented a boat this past weekend from Forgotten Coast and had a great time. My family and I took a really nice boat up the river for a picnic lunch and then out to Dog Island for the rest of the afternoon. Boat was gassed up and waiting for us at the dock when we arrived in the am. With guidance from the owner, I was able to navigate my way thru the whole trip without any trouble. The boat was nice and had plenty of room for my daughter run around and play without worry. We will be back.

Had a great day on the water! Went out with BJ our guide and he was knowledgeable and friendly. Jerry was very accommodating! The pontoon we went on was perfect for scalloping and we were thankful for the shade canopy on the boat.

we had an experience of a lifetime. Took out the SS Voyager deep into the scalloping grounds. Our guide, BJ, was knowledgeable and entertaining. When Mother Nature kicked up, he did his best to find us suitable scallop grounds. What an afternoon. Jerry, the owner, gave a detailed rundown of the coast and where the scallops were 🔥 Would recommend to anyone with a sense of adventure and a taste for sweet scallop meat.

Our trip was scheduled and paid weeks in advance and arrive at the location with all 13 guests for Jerry to tell us that he mixed up our booking with another 2 boat crew and showed me in his log how easy it was to mistake the 2. No trip Saturday, 4 hours wasted prepping and traveling from St Joe and listening to Jerry's nonsense. Arrive the following day and boats dirty unseaworthy nonfunctional boats in 2 separate locations. . He helps us map out our route for the day and insists that we have enough fuel when we call midday. We did not. I towthe 2nd boat with the anchor line from the "nice boat" because "Mr. Dependable" only had 4 foot of chain for an anchor line. Both boats are in terrible shape underpowered and honestly a hazard for ANYBODY in or around these vessels. Didn't bother calling Jerry for a refund because of his incompetence. The mechanic told us to go ahead and take Mr dependable to the fuel dock and top it off on Jerry's tab. We declined. Nobody was at the marina when we returned to represent the business. Not enough life jackets. I could literally go on for an hour about their poor service and unbelievably low level of execution on anything they are trying to do. Do not expect a functional boat if you rent here. Do not expect to be met by a functional staff. For your safety, do not rent here. To save you stress, time and money, find something else to do.

Be Forewarned! Our vacation to Cape San Blas was planned around the scalloping season. When the harvesting time period was delayed in the area, we looked for an outfitter further east. Jerry, the owner of Forgotten Coast Paddlesports, made all kinds of great promises. He said he would set us up for a successful scalloping excursion with a guide, so we booked it. While driving to our appointment, an hour away, we unfortunately got a call from Jerry with various reasons as to why we needed to cancel and reschedule later in the week. Three days later, we met Jerry at his store front. He handed us 3 life jackets (2 adults, one youth) and told us to meet the “guide” a few miles away at a small marina. He warned us that the guide he was going to assign to us initially got hurt, and he was sending his mechanic who knew “every bump in the bay”. We met this mechanic and his girlfriend at the marina and boarded a “decrepit pontoon boat”. Our group consisted of 5 adults and a 2 year old plus the “guide” and his girlfriend, which gave us a total of 7 adults on board. Fortunately, we brought our own life jacket for the 2 year old, but there were no others on the boat. …7 adults & only 2 adult life jackets…hmmm. The old boat had seen much better days, the railings around the perimeter were broken and loose, the gates non-functional. As we idled out of the marina, our mechanic tried to increase the speed only to have the engine fall flat, sputter and stall over and over. He instructed his girlfriend to pump the fuel primer bulb continuously to keep it running as we slowly edged into the bay. After going perhaps ½ mile at a crawl, we stopped for first jump in the water. Guess what…no anchor on board. We snorkeled around and couldn’t find any scallops, so we wanted to move. At that point, we discovered we didn’t have a ladder to get out of the water and onto the boat! Trying to haul ourselves onto the deck was not easy and resulted in many scrapes and scratches. Did I mention there wasn’t a Bimini top on this barge? Jerry advertises on his website that “all pontoons are Coast Guard certified and ready for a day on the water” and “All rental rates include life jackets, Bimini tops, and a full tank of gas.” We were baking in the sun. There are no pictures of this boat on his website…no surprise. What a joke of an outfitter…Jerry hasn’t responded to my email requesting some sort of restitution, yet I’m certain he will respond to this review that it isn’t his fault, just like he did with the last complaint the same week with another customer who had an extremely similar experience. Very Poor customer service Jerry!
