Publix at town center on hiway 80 Savannah GA. Rarely are there enough registers open. You can no longer pay for your groceries at the self service except with a card. No longer can you get money back at self service. Instead at 11:30 this morning I was stuck with 1 full service aisle..backed up, and the only other lane open was 10 items or less. I worked there for 11 and a half yrs. We always had enough cashiers, no complaints ever. It's sad to see it now being run like no one really cares about the customers. Anne Emerson

I have visited my local Publix at St Andrews in Port saint Lucie 3 times recently, and each time they were out of stock on Publix Diet Cola 12 packs. To avoid another wasted trip, I called the store repeatedly for 30 minutes today and got a busy signal (they obviously have the phone off the hook) I called Corporate headquarters to see if they could get through but they have an automated system which keeps repeating the call loop regardless of your option selection (in this case option 6). Publix used to be a quality and user friendly place to shop...boy has that changed in recent years. Customer service decline has apparently found their way into corporate culture, and poor corporate governance has created poor store level customer service. VERY DISAPPOINTING. A sign of the times.

Many employees at several stores have helped me locate a discontinued Waterloo water! They were all so helpful. Blueberry is my husbands favorite. They found 19 cases at one store, 16 cases at another and 13 at another. Everyone went out of their way to help. Thank you to all of them. Job well done!

I have a particular Manager that likes to follow me around the store, making me feel uncomfortable, taunted, and stalked all to voice his opinion to me at the cash register. In front of 2 of his employees, wonder how that made them feel, would he reprimanded his employees out in an open area? It’s terrible I get treated with more dignity and respect at lower end grocery stores than at Publix! I can just take my diabetic dietary food needs across the street to Lowes !

Life

I live in Auburn, AL, and I use the store at Shoppes at Cary Creek. I am utterly disgusted with the curbside pickup service. I have spoken with two different managers about the 2 spaces designated for customers who PAY MORE for this service. On six occasions I have ordered groceries and arrived and folks who are in the store shopping took the spaces. This is unfair and I can't understand why there isn't a "we will tow a warning" for violators. We pay more for this service and something has to be done to correct this. I am upset that the managers have been professional in listening to my complaint, yet no action has been taken to correct this issue. There need to be more curbside pickup spaces available as well.

I took my daughter to the Relax Room for a massage as a birthday gift and I went with her. She absolutely loved it and I swear it was better than any full body massage that I have had from a massage therapist! It is the perfect option for people who don't feel comfortable being touched by stranger's or others in general. I really liked the "Maridian" setting. The "Housewife" and "Sports" settings were great too. We plan to return. One side note, make sure to wear socks and you will need to make sure to position yourself well before turning on the chair. It automatically scans your body to adjust to your body type and height. You may also need to adjust your feet and arms when you change any chair settings. If you aren't positioned well, you could harm yourself. We didn't have any issues ourselves, but another customer didn't place their feet in the correct area before turning on the chair and it squeezed her feet in the wrong places, which was not comfortable at all for them.

Today I shopped at Publix located in Avalon Park Blvd. There’s self checkout cashier which I don’t like and avoid to use if I can, however with only two cashiers available I was left with no choice. I used the self checkout and was doing well until a produce item failed to ring up. I asked one of the four employees standing by just observing the people checkout to assist me. The lady stand away from the register and me giving verbal instructions to me. I asked if she could do it for me instead of telling me what to do. She said “I am teaching you how it works so that you know and next time you won’t need me or anyone else to assist you.” I told her that I don’t work there and I was not planning to use these machines again in the event that I decided to continue shopping there. I decided to call on the assistant manager who was also standing by observing while we the shoppers struggle checking out. The Assistant Manager told me his employees are instructed not to intervene while customers checkout. I expressed my opinion as to how ineffective his policy was because at a regular cashier they had two employees helping the customer and at checkout it seems customers were on their own. I was very disappointed to say the least. I have shopped at this location for the past 12 years and I am seeing this store going down the hill. 😞

This location has the worst deli in Smyrna. Slow to wait on customers if you get service this is NOT the first time customer service was lacking in this department. Been told several times issues would be addressed with employees well guess have not or employees do not care. After the non service I am believing it is the latter. Read other reviews and I see a pattern of BAD customer service other than the deli department but there are numerous complaints on this department. Seems like Publix doesn’t care after reading other reviews. Will have to find new store. Why would you pay more for bad service!!!!

4 stars because Publix is simply cleaner than any other grocery store in the city. Including Walmart. Would have posted five stars except it is extremely frustrating to go from one store to the next. There are three publix stores close to me that I go to. Not one of them is set up anywhere near like the others. The bakeries are set up different and don't carry the same products. I needed an angel food cake and I only found it at one. Never are the aisle arrangements the same from store to store. They are clean. They are friendly. They are helpful. The biggest problem with Publix is the pharmacy. The pharmacy techs rely completely on the computer and never talk to each other. I have had more than one occasion that I had to make two trips because I was given information and my wife was given completely different information on the same question.

Mr. Jenkins founded Publix on superior customer service, and the chain continues to advertise this, but it is not anywhere near that today. I have shopped at Publix since 1982 and the service is just deteriorated. The worst are the bag employees! They just toss your items in the bags, 5lb. of sugar on your bananas, 1/2 gallon of milk on top of your bread! True! I have many times brought this to the attention of the management and it just continues. These is a reason shoppers are making the decision to NOT spend their money$$ at Publix. With the high cost of groceries today, your employees should be careful and respectful of the customers. It’s just so frustrating.
