The food is exquisite. It is top caliber dining. The chef blends different ingredients and the flavors explode in your mouth.The ambience is very intimate and cozy. The service was amazing. After dinner, go upstairs and enjoy an array of high quality desserts in a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend Euphemia. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Talk about a phenomenal atmosphere upstairs and down! Service is impeccable! Food is hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve not tasted one thing I didn’t like at this place. I recommend the peppered steak and Cesar salad. Desserts are a must, they are heavenly, mouth watering, deliciousness! Every flavor you can imagine and the size is huge. Nothing but good things to say, exceeds expectations every time. A very special place!

For this price point I would expect extraordinary food and environment. The food was ok but nothing memorable. I feel this is a place my grandparents would enjoy but overall lacked creativity and quality. But the worst is my husband reserved for my birthday, with the intention of spending an evening out, enjoying conversation and a bottle of wine. I have never felt so rushed through a meal in my life. The entree came so fast after ordering and we were being pushed into the dessert room before making it through our first glass of wine. If that wasn’t bad enough, my husband went to the restroom and the server brought my dessert with a lit candle while he was gone. Thank you to the nice family across the restaurant for singing to me in his absence. Have to say this was a Denny’s experience at Michelin star price.

The ambiance and service was excellent. It’s a great little area. The food was pretty good, but not a 5 star worthy. The steak plentiful and mashed potatoes was solid.

My wife and I took my dad there for a special dinner a few weeks ago and it was truly special. Dave, our waiter, was terrific. Attentive, but not over-bearing. The food was spectacular as always. We had the pepper steak, duck and the snapper. All were perfectly prepared. We then transitioned up to the Haye Loft and finished the night with some great desserts. Euphemia Haye is a special restaurant. You will never be disappointed!

Love this place have been going for 7 years to celebrate our anniversary, was proposed to in the dessert room! Everyone in the staff makes sure your night is special and unforgettable, EXCEPT until we got upstairs. The bartender (Sam) made it clear he didn’t care why we were there and was short and rude the whole time for our drinks and dessert. It really put a damper on the night, did not feel welcome. It is not cheap and it is not exactly close to anything, we made the trip out because, as said before, it really makes you feel like you’re doing something special but this time we walked away feeling like we were not exactly wanted or needed. Will rethink where we decide to celebrate next year ☹️

I want to thank them first for seating such a large party with kids. But in no way does that excuse such poor service. We had to ask our waiter several times to refill the sparkling waters & it never happened. When he came for the appetizer order he spoke with two out of the seven adults & disappeared then acted like it was a hassle when I ordered my appetizers. On top of that I ordered my child a $50 grouper dinner with broccoli that she only ate a few bites of. I asked him to box it & bring her desert. Unfortunately when we returned home it was not with our food we took home & neither was half of my wife’s dinner. Only the steak, nothing else from the plate. After hearing rave reviews we had friends drive down an hour to meet us for a celebratory birthday dinner only to be embarrassed that we recommended this place. We have called & the staff said a manager would call us back, well that was 2 days ago. We have tried to reach out again with no response.

This was a wonderful meal. That said, I believe when you pay this much the meal must be extraordinary to warrant five stars. The service was excellent and the food was wonderful it just didn't quite get there to get a complete five stars. Still, I would highly recommend it. Ambiance/view: 4 .... They do a great job of making a restaurant with no View feel cozy and elegant. Service: 4.5 Food: 4 Cost: 3.5 (expense vs. total experience)

We travel to vacation in Longboat Key every year, and not one has passed in the last decade where we did not end up having dessert night at Euphemia Haye. This year, we also had dinner downstairs in the dining room. The menu is varied and each of our dishes was fantastic. From steak to seafood to poultry, all six of our dinners were fantastic. The desserts are unsurpassed - photos show a sampling. Roughly a dozen different options prepared fresh everyday. Truly a treat, complimented by the freshly pressed coffee.
