Amazing friendly and professional staff! It is clear they are dedicated to excellent and expedient care of their customers, and really care about the patients! I called just hours before they closed for the thanksgiving holiday, as my pup had a sudden eye infection and flare up out of nowhere. They were able to fit me in, care for my pup quickly with kiddos in tow, and I was able to go home with the meds needed to clear the infection. Made my holiday weekend! Care has been excellent every time I’ve gone there, this experience was just so wonderful I felt I had to write a review 😊

The staff at San Ann Animal Hospital are kind, caring and very patient. They are through in gathering information about your pet before proceeding with any exams. The hospital is meticulously clean in the waiting areas and the exam rooms and that's something I greatly appreciate. Shout out to Abbey, Stephanie and Dr. Mattox for your continued excellent care of our family pets.

Such caring and kind people! We took our very, very sick, precious little Maltese here and less than 24 hours later she has recovered dramatically from a condition called Protein-losing enteropathy (PLE). Dr. Maddox suggested we take her to a specialist but once I explained we are a couple in our 70's living on a fixed income, Dr. Maddox agreed to treat our dog to the best of her abilities. As I said, our dog has had a remarkable improvement in less than 24 hours. Not only is Dr. Maddox kind, gracious and non-judgmental, so is all of the support staff! The Dr. and staff have made follow up calls to see how their patient is doing. And this place is reasonably priced! You cannot go wrong bringing your pet here.

In seeking a small animal vet for our 12 ye old Australian Shepherd, we came across San Antonio Animal Clinic. Very happy with the warm reception we got! Everyone was exceptional to work with, efficient, and Puzzle loved them. The fees were within range of our Ohio vet and they were not pushy about procedures we did not feel were needed!

We moved to the area recently and tried a few vets in the area before coming to San Antonio Animal Hospital. Stephanie in the front office is amazing and always very personable and understanding. They are always helpful and able to fit my dogs in when needed. If you have a reactive dog I highly recommend coming here as they are understanding and not judgemental at all, unlike other vet offices I've been to. Thank you!

I took my baby/dog in after awakening to him in a terrible state, what I thought to be the verge of death. We rushed him to San Antonio Animal Hospital and the staff was so attentive, they kept us updated on the steps they were taking to diagnose and treat him. They were clear about the cost, too. My baby is usually not very friendly but he was comfortable there, so that says alot. Thankfully my pup made a full recovery, and the doctor even checked up on him after the fact. I want to Thank the entire staff there for being so thorough and caring, you saved my handsome boy❤ I also want to add that the establishment is very clean, not smelly at all. I would recommend anyone to them, Great place!
