I don’t normally do reviews however, after ordering takeout from here I have to. I have lived all over and being that I love Mexican cuisine I have sought out the best Mexican restaurants wherever I go. I have no idea how many I have ate at but I tell you this was the ABSOLUTE BEST Mexican food I have ever eaten. I got the Mexican Fajitas mixed with chicken and steak. Oh my gosh it was soooooo good. The steak was tender and the chicken cooked perfectly. I also got the fresh guacamole and fresh Pico which was also wonderful. The portions were plentiful which was a nice surprise. I haven’t lived here long so I am just learning of this establishment but now that I have I will be referring everyone I know to go here and I will be ordering often!!

Four years coming to Rome GA to work in a student program at Berry College. I have brought my students o the La Mexicana Supermarket and Restaurant, for a creative activity and a nice authentic meal from Mexico or Central America. Every time, the people working there have been jus F A N T A S T I C, resourceful, reliable, helpful, kind and respectful with my students. I cannot thank them enough and I hope to be back next summer for another great "teaching moment" at this exceptional restaurant and supermarket. The waitresses at the restaurant go the extra mile to make sure every customer leaves happy and with a "happy tummy."

So it's Christmas day and a bunch of nurses are hungry working in the ICU. Not many options to order from but La Mexicana was one of them. We ordered over 100 of food close to closing time for them and it was without a doubt the best Mexican food I've had since I've been in Georgia. I personally had a chicken torta and two steak tacos. Outstanding!! Also ordered roasted jalapenos and pico. Everything was was way better than what we were expecting. I'm going to have to check out the restaurant inn person. Edit: we are here in person. The place is even better in house. Hands down best food in Rome, GA

Best authentic Mexican cuisine in NW Georgia!! Food was delicious and well plated. Restaurant and grocery store have separate exterior entrances but also an interior connection. After a wonderful meal spent some time in this well stocked grocery store.
