Tried this place out because they accept my vision insurance. Friendly but slightly inattentive staff. (I waited about 30 longer than necessary because multiple staff members assumed I’d been helped already.) Large selection of frames at good prices. They mailed my contacts directly to me so I didn’t have to stop by again to pick them up. Very convenient.

I stopped in this America's Best Eyeglasses to check out their selection of frames a few weeks ago and a young lady named Alexis helped me. She is amazing! Before I had even committed to making an appointment for my eye exam, Alexis took the time to explain all the different types of lenses, progressive lenses, and transitions. She worked out the price of 2 pairs of glasses with my insurance AND with their 2 for $79 special to see which price was better. She spent at least 30 minutes with me going over all my options and even made notes in the computer so that when I came for my exam, all she had to do was place my order. I had to wait a couple of weeks for the eye exam, but that was not a big deal. The day of my exam, there were several people ahead of me, but it didn't take very long to see the doctor. The doctor was very efficient, he worked quickly but did not rush me, he was patient and answered all my questions. When he finished with me, he sent me out to order my glasses and I got Alexis again! She already knew what I wanted, all she had to do was key it in so I could pay for them! I only had to wait one week for my glasses to come in, and when I picked them up, Alexis adjusted them for me. She spent the extra time to make sure they fit well and sat straight on my face. I had an excellent experience at this location, and Alexis made it so easy!

I give America's Best in Rome a 2 star rating since the labs they use can't make the lenses right. I bought 2 pair of glasses and when they came I was unable to see clearly out of either pair. They asked if i wanted to keep them! Yeah right...everyone wants to pay for glasses they can't see out of. The doc adjusted the prescription since the first doc didn't get it right and the glasses went back to the lab. I got both pair back only to have one pair still incorrect. I'm now going back for a forth time to pick up the 2nd pair and i hope they're right. I gave an extra star for the people who work the front area. They are so kind and helpful. It's the lab and the eye doc who did a poor job that are to blame. I was told they use 7 labs for all their lenses and it appears they need to fire a couple of them. Best of luck!

They canceled my appointment for no good reason! I really needed my glasses and the lady on the phone was extremely rude and said if I don’t like it got Cartersville location. Don’t recommend Rome location at all!

The frames I ordered for my prescription sunglasses broke when the technician was putting in my (thick and difficult to fit) lenses. They rushed a new order of frames and put my sunglass lenses in a pair of much more expensive frames for me to wear while my replacement pair came. Good customer service and happy with both the fit and quality of both my daily wear glasses and my sunglasses. My only critique was that the online appointment availability was very limited, although the website was otherwise easy to use. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Excellent customer service! Extremely pleased with my bifocal glasses and prescription sunglasses! Exam went well. All staff were super friendly and helpful!! Picking up my glasses was simple and quick! Jolly Wansley and his staff are Awesome! Highly recommend for eye exam and glasses!!!!

I did not get my eye exam here but came to get my glasses. Kandi is awesome. She knows exactly what you need and does it. She is a wonderful person as well and makes you feel as if you are the only customer in the store. Everyone there was welcoming.

The staff were all very kind in helping me get new glasses. I haven't been back to get new glasses in 6 years so the prescription was very drastic. They answered all of my questions, made double sure everything was comfortable and looked right, and reassured me to call in with any questions or issues. Very grateful for their service and finally getting new glasses!!!
