There is no problem getting an appointment. I had my eye exam for glasses and lens months ago. Received my glasses in a timely manner. The problem is poor communication with the contact process. I was given 3 different trials for contacts (all which arrived at different times) to see which one was a better fit. The 1st pair I took home the day of my eye exam and was told I would receive a call when the others arrived. 2-3 weeks or maybe more went by and I did not receive a call. So, I called and they apologized and stated the 2nd pair was in and I could pick them up. However, the 3rd trial was not in. Finally, I received my 3rd trial. Fast forward…I received a call stating that my trials are in and needs to be picked up. Sigh…Now, I had to re-explain the entire process and told her that I’m now needing to make appointment w/Dr.Matthews. I was told that Dr. Matthews is temporarily out and she would follow up w/the clinicians to see when is the next available appointment and call me. Here again, no call weeks later, leaving me to call them to for follow up. This has been the longest contact process ever.

Insurance full coverage NOT I scheduled the appointment on July 20 for August 8 and they confirmed the state AmeriaGroup Insurance covered the visit with no co-pay for my grandchild. So the frame would be $69.99 and that is were I stopped them knowing Walmart has inexpensive reading glasses. They agreed then informed me the eye exam was $39.99. I was shocked that now the full insurance coverage they had already confirmed has now changed. They said they had just found out this morning there would be a charge and did not call me. Well it was pay or go to jail for theft of services for not paying for the eye exam. Oh and I could not get anyone from the cooperate office to complain to.

Today was a great surprise April who works at Hiram location took great care of me and actually getting my glasses redone since my frames was bad. They did not have to do this since I am past my warranty. But April helped me out and reordered new frames and lenses and even helped me picked them out. Bravo for vision works having such great staff in Hiram. All the staff is awesome.

Love that they have glasses prices low and high...nothing outrageous. Dr. Ramkin was both great to the kids and educational for me. She explained all her findings in layman terms and I felt confident with her diagnosis of my kids eye health. All other staff super helpful as well. Great place. Highly recommend.

Great experience! All 3 of my kids were seen and all got glasses...2 got a pair of blue light glasses covered by insurance and the 3rd got prescription glasses.
