The management team is amazing. Donald is obviously a rockstar! Shady tree mechanic for three decades and have never got such great service.. they brought parts in faster and cheaper than anybody else could have. And they got me everything I needed so I'm super happy really great team thank you guys and girls.

Worst customer service Tried to get a starter twice Guy had me on hold for 10 minutes then asks me if it’s for a ford or a Chevy Pits me on hold again and never came back on. Called again and the rudest person ever answered the phone asking me for the part number That’s why I called the store cause u have the part!

very helpful staff! Fast reliable service and friendly. Open til 9 pm 👍 wanted to write a new review but can’t seem to find how. So I’m adding to this one… 7/16/22 auto zone in Kapaa definitely has the most helpful staff. I was stuck on the side of the road up north shore this morning truck wouldn’t start… I was needing an alternator and battery for my Tacoma, not only did Camille answer the phone 30 minutes before they were actually open but she was friendly and helpful right away. She has knowledge in the automotive world and I’m so grateful for that. I’m Very happy that pretty much every time I’ve been in there camille is in store and ready to help me with a smile, even on her not so happy days she’s smiling and makes things super fast smooth and easy. I always end up with exactly what I need and she makes sure I have everything I’m going to need to complete the job. Thinking ahead, I like that. That’s helpful and saves lots of time and back peddling. She extended her reach to her manager Chris I believe is his name 🙏🏽 Thank you. Again very helpful and friendly and did everything he could to make sure I did not stay stranded ? Sorry if I got your name wrong. I appreciate you 100% Also awesome in customer service and together they got me a battery and an alternator swapped under warranty within minutes at no charge and let me bring them the old ones later today. Had a friend get one part in Lihue auto zone store thank you to them 💯 and the other in Kapaa auto zone. I had both parts in hand by 845am. So grateful to have these awesome people to back me up when I’m stranded and out of options. You really saved me so much stress and lots of cussing and maybe even some tears. Called for an optima battery told the girl I need an exact fit she said the universal one would fit and that’s all they have. I told her I wanted exact fit she said I’d have to wait 6 weeks for order! How is that accurate? I ordered an optima for my wife’s Prius and it came in 3 days! They lost a customer for life… these guys are so inconsistent.

This store went to the dogs! No customer service! No knowledge! No anything! This store was always fun to go to the employees were always so happy and cheerful! They were great at making customers feel good about having a bad experience! Now it’s like walking into a funeral, no one wants to be there but the have to be! Toby and the rest of the OGs were great! This new crew is depressing!
