The Boise Stage Stop began in 1891, known then as “The Regina Store,” and was owned and operated by the local postmaster, Joseph Boyle. Service and decore awesome! Quality of food poor. Coffee very watered down. Chicken on sandwich lesser quality than fast food. Sewage smell from bathrooms hard to ignore. Bathrooms seem clean but smell of bleach and sewage water. The quality of food really ruins the high quality of service. Really too bad if they mildly improved the food and coffee this place would be way better.

Love it! Lots of parking, restaurant was good. Although I had a craving for steak and the hand cut rib eye is $89, had to pass on that. I don't mind dropping coin on a good steak but I just couldn't bring myself to believe a truck stop cook was going to hook that steak up right. There were other cheaper cuts but, I'm a rib eye guy. Regardless, I had the meatloaf, baked potatoes, broccoli, and side salad and was completely satisfied with it and the price. Wait staff is also awesome, very friendly and attentive. Lots of reffers here however, don't know why but lots so if they drive you nuts like they do me you'll have to get on the outskirts of the lot to try and avoid them. Last but not least the showers are AWESOME! $11 or free with 75+/g fuel purchase. Huge space, tub and shower, toilet and bidet!!

It’s over 20 hrs since my last visit but this place hasn’t missed a step. I always order their NY Strip dinner but have never had a bad experience. It was even better to get draft beer. Also want to mention the great service which was the cherry on this visit. Thanks to each of the people who work here, job well done.

A typical truck stop, food is not bad or good. Service is fast. Not the cleanest places you want to eat. A lot of flies everywhere.

True truck stop! Restaurant food was a certified 10/10 Had the Texas BBQ sandwich with potato salad while my dad had the carne asada platter and both were done to perfection! What really surprised me is that this place has a little bit of everything Mexican, Italian, your standard American fare, and even pizza. Store was large and clean, good service, and the place really feels like home away from home.

Pretty decent food as far as a truck stop goes. I had the opportunity to try the pizza, which was surprisingly good but not great. It’s the thick, greasy kind that you may expect, but they do have more creativity with flavors than most similar establishments. The menu is huge! You name it and they probably have it. I also went once for dinner and it was fine. I had a double cheeseburger with cheese fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was perfect. The cheese fries were greasy but delicious. The burger was fine. Nothing special but still good. Overall, this is a safe spot and much better than most truck stops. The service was okay and the place was fairly clean. Prices are low.

My husband and I stop here every time we come through, I will have to say this will be the last time. The time before we ordered dinner and our steaks, that we ordered medium rare were more like charred, we had to saw thru them. Our broccoli was not steamed as the waitress told us it would be, it was cold and raw. (Yes, we complained to our waitress, she only said, I’m sorry). We stopped here today and ordered a T-bone steak and prime rib, both of ours were beyond cold! I saw it sit up in the window for well over 10 minutes. Once we got our food, our waitress never checked back on us. I actually had to ask the dishwasher for our one and only coffee refill. For an $80+ dollar meal, one would think it would at least be warm. After dinner, we went into the store and tried to get ice cream, the gal there told us she would be right with us, then continued over with the cashiers chatting and never did help us. We finally walked out…we will gladly spend our money where we and our money is appreciated.

Omg! This place was delectable 🤤 my husband and I had the Smokey Bear Burger with fries. This is a 1/3 pound burger with a slice of ham, a slice of turkey and Swiss cheese. They bring mayo, lettuce, and pickles on the side. The flavor profile was absolutely amazing. The burger was juicy and everything was hot and fresh. They have a sign up stating that truck drivers will be served first and that was really appreciated since we were on a time crunch. The service was outstanding and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Had to come in and eat because it’s been many years since I have and I like truck stop food. I stopped in on my way back to Oregon and I was impressed by the huge menu and and all the dishes offered. I would love to come for dinner sometime and try the meatloaf, but Breakfast was what I was here for so I decided on the Pork Chops and eggs breakfast,( I am a chicken fried steak guy, but what the hell) The chops were cooked to perfection and my eggs were over easy just like like them. The hash browns were not very impressive which was disappointing but I’ll forgive them. The service was good and my coffee never got empty. I gave this truck stop 4 outta 5 stars. I will go back and try dinner for sure next time I’m in town.

I want to give these guys 5 stars but 3 will have to do for now. I stopped because the sign said Prime Rib & Steaks and I was in the mood for meat. Apparently they are short staffed and have new cooks who aren't allowed to cook a steak...so the menu has limited options. So I tried the spaghetti with the meat sauce and got a side of the spaghetti sauce and it was PHENOMENAL!!! Garlic bread is texas toast and thick and soft I cant wait to come back to try the other foods when they can do it. Plenty of space to park and to stage for oversize loads. They have their own truck scale and usual truck stop merchandise The food so far is worth the stop
