Highly recommend, this is a treat! The food is 2nd to none. Try the appetizers when you go! The steak was a 16oz and covered the stone before we tore it up . The stone experience was unique-your steak cooks on the stone at your table, the server tells you all about it. The flavor was amazing. They do have paper menus if you don't want to use the QR code- just ask. This is a gold nugget restaurant and I'm so happy we ate here. Our friends had the pork chop and chicken breast and they also loved it. I wish I had taken pics of the plated food because the chef made great effort to make it look so nice!

You just have to go! Food was absolutely delicious. The staff was great and the head chef takes great pride in what he delivers to patrons. Food : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 5/5 … More

My significant other and I came here for the first time for my birthday dinner. It was a Saturday night, 2 other tables while we were there. He ordered a modelo, and the best by date was may 2022; it is October 2022, it was tasteless. I ordered an old fashioned; it was poured from a premixed bottle onto ice, no garnish. Disappointment for this type of drink. Our server forgot our appetizer. He also forgot our desert. Food was very good, but but everything else was disappointing. We were both very sad about this experience considering how much hype this place has :(

Wasn't too sure about the menu. It was novel in how it was presented. On line in the restaurant. Food was excellent. The steaks brought out on a stone. The server was very good at explaining how the stone was used to cook the steak in front of you.

When we first walked in, service was a bit slow, but we were giving it a fair shot. Maaaan, AM I GLAD WE DID!!! Yoooo.... it took forever for any of the tables to get their food, but when the first table got theirs, the whole place lit up with the appealing aroma of something well seasoned and savory. When our food came to the table, our prime rib and lamb chops were seared but rare, so the 750 degree salted stone was there for you to finish the job piece by peace. Whew!Perfection!! Paired with the Garlic Chimi Sauce, we devoured that delight and had enough to take home to savor later. Definitely coming back.

My wife and I generally go out every Saturday night and try to pick a different restaurant each week. While there are many good restaurants to eat at in the St. Louis area along with the Metro East my wife and I added Gaucho's to the top of the list! We were seated promptly with one of the friendliest waitresses ever! She was so nice and explained everything on the menu from the delicious appetizers to the dinner entree's. My wife chose the Salmon dinner while I took on one of the largest rib-eyes I have ever been served! The steaks are cooked with the Stone Grill Experience which locks in the flavor and tenderness! It's served with a delicious Argentinian Chimichurri sauce that really adds to the flavor! We managed to still have room for the Key-Lime Pie which was also excellent!!!!!! We will be returning very soon!

I will say the food was good, but not for the price. Better off going to a nicer steak house and you'll have a nicer experience and pay less. The place was way understaffed and packed. Waited 45 min after ordering just to be told they ran out of multiple parts of our order and had to order something else while watching tables that came in afterwards getting the same stuff that had "run out". Ended up getting held hostage for 2 hours and 15 min before we could finally leave.

I’m so glad one of my favorite restaurants is back open. We missed the atmosphere, staff and food while they were closed! Can’t wait to bring my parent back here when they come back in town in October!!! Also love that they added some new items to the menu. Tonight I will be trying the 4 cheese Mac and cheese!!!

This place is simple AMAZING! Staff? Polite! The owner and his wife give you big restaurants service, food, and atmosphere… but are quite literally a small family business. Turn around from ordering to food coming out is damn near instant. There aren’t enough stars to give

We really enjoyed our first visit to Gauchos. We were in the area to run an errand and decided to stay for dinner. After a quick Google search we found Gauchos and was intrigued by the stone cooking experience. I ordered the Flamed Grilled Chicken filet and my husband ordered the 14oz Latin Seasoned Ribeye. Both were delicious! I also really enjoyed the flavors and texture of the rice side dish that accompanied both meals. If you enjoy your steak on the rarer side you may want to remove it from the stone (because it continues to cook on the hot stone, as you eat). What really made our meal shine was the Chimichurri - it was definitely special and absolutely delicious. Thank you for a great dinner!
