Edit: I spoke with the pharmacist about my issues and we had a nice chat. He got all my concerns addressed and promised he would take care of me in the future. I will give them another chance. I’m done with this pharmacy. First, I went an entire week without insulin because the pharmacy wouldn’t call my insurance to work it out. I called my insurance company and they gave me all the information and told me had Walgreen’s actually called they would have told them everything they told me. I was patient with them when this happened. Now, tonight when I opened my weekly trulicity I noticed they didn’t even give me the correct dose and 1/2 of what my insurance covers!

My husband was waiting in the drive thru line and the car in front of him was at the window, it was close to 6:00pm. After the car in front pulled forward, they pulled the closed screen down while he was at the window. He said he couldnt have been treated more rudely. Needless to say, he is moving all his prescriptions tomorrow.

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. They could not get my prescriptions filled when they said they would be. They are short on health they would tell me they would be open and when I got there they would not be. They would tell me that I had prescriptions ready and what they were and when I got there they were not ready. I am ashamed that Walgreens is stupid, and falling this far from what they used to be. Reluctantly had to change different pharmacies now when I have them call me they already when they say they are but not Walgreens I'll never go back.

Please put the available test dates at the beginning of the questionnaire for covid testing. Why make me fill out all that info just to tell me IN THE END that the next available test date is a week away !! I would have moved on right away because I need a test TODAY to go to work not next week. You like all others just want the personal data...what a shame.

I don't understand all these negative reviews. I've lived in Geneseo for about a year and I really enjoy this store. I get a few prescriptions from the pharmacy, and while they are understaffed, they are always really friendly. Every time I visit the front counter I receive a compliment from whoever is working. Really nice store!

If I could give this pharmacy location less than one star, I would. Horrible customer service, horribly unprofessional. I feel terrible for the pharmacist, because it's all due to one full time, RUDE, mouthy tech.

I have tried to order medication from here multiple times and not once has it it been ready for pickup when it was scheduled. There always seems to be a new excuse as to why they didn't do it. This latest time I was told that my insurance wouldn't approve it until today (which I knew, that's why I ordered it for today). I stated that the automated system told me that it wouldn't be available until afternoon noon. They told me that they didn't fill it because it wouldn't be approved until today. Essentially they never intended to fill it until I showed up to pick it up at 5:30pm. And since I am stuck here waiting again for no other reason the incompetence I thought I should leave a review to make sure no one else makes the same mistake coming here.

Geneseo Walgreens was too busy to give me a shingles vaccine last week. The pharmacist was rude too.. Went to Moline Walgreens and they gladly gave me the vaccine. They were busy with covid vaccines too but are professional and realize their customers have other needs besides covid

I generally like Walgreen's Pharmacy. But when I went to this one, they insisted they had not received my prescription. They refused to call after it for me when my cell phone wasn't up to the job. They referred me to another phone in the store, where I waited after being announced over the loudspeaker. The manager walked me through the store, embarrassingly yelling "long distance call" as he strolled past the pharmacy to lead me to the office. In the office, he was incredulous that I didn't know the phone number by heart. When I finally reached the referring pharmacy, they insisted they had spoken to the Walgreens pharmacist not once but twice already. I waited another half hour when they took his call another time, and then they tried to recreate another medical record for me under a new, misspelled name. All of this was very frustrating, but the worst was that no one ever took responsibility or apologized. I was quite worried I wouldn't be able to get my medicine, and no one was willing to step up to make sure the customer was served. I consistently got the message I was a problem they didn't want to deal with, so I had to advocate for myself firmly in order to pay them money for my prescription.
