Best experience at any eye doctor and store I've ever had! Every person I interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and helpful. I got 2 pairs of prescription sunglasses and Meredith helped me customize them with what frame color I like and gave insight on all the lens options I didn't even know existed!!! I'm obsessed with both pairs. Will definitely be back for checkups and more glasses.

Pearle Vision or should I say Merideth at the Geneva Pearle Vision spent alot of time with my wife and I to find the perfect pair of glasses for both of us. I’ve been going to Pearle Vision in Geneva for about 6yrs & have always been satisfied with the eye care I’ve gotten there. Dr. Tweed gives me all the information I need about what my vision is doing and explaining it in layman’s terms. Linda, a vision sales care associate has been great at helping me find the best eye glasses that look great and feel comfortable, I highly recommend them for your eye care needs.

I had bad experience with eye docs but this place the staff is very helpful - friendly knowledgeable. I love my new glasses. Super cute. If you need an eye doc to go too def go here. You won’t be disappointed.

Let me start by saying Dr Tweed is the best, an absolutely amazing, kind, patient, and knowledgeably eye doctor. I have been coming to his Pearle Vision for a very long time, almost 10 years at my estimate. I have moved twice in that time and have stayed loyal as I changed jobs and insurance companies many time. In fact, we drive 20 mins from Naperville to see Dr Tweed. My complaints below have nothing to do with him. My complaints are 100% around the office staff. I dread going to my appointments because of how rude and incompetent the office staff are. My file is thick from years of visits but yet I need to fill out new patient paperwork every time and they seem to have trouble locating me and my husband in the system. Nothing in the office is electronic, everything is done by hand and not in a good way. Today, my husband and I came in for an appointment and we spent more time “haggling” with the staff than we did actually in the room with the dr. I understand that there is likely a commission from us getting our glasses and contacts in house but with current lean times, online is just so much cheaper. We were politely up front today about our intentions to just get our Rx and go but there was extensive back and forth as they tried to upsell us and tell us things such as, we won’t be able to use our insurance or that online is more expensive (which is a lie). The lady helping me kept trying to do the math on how much contacts cost while we waited for her to print out the Rx and when I gently declined the need to do that, she snapped back that she needed to add it in the system. This happened twice where she veered from just getting us out of there to attempt to rationalize why we are “missing out” by not ordering contacts now. I don’t understand why she needed to enter information into the insurance system if we weren’t purchasing anything but that was her retort as to why it was taking so long. We had to do this twice because of our staggered appointment time, so two fights with the office staff to just get the printout of our prescriptions. We were there for a total of almost 2 hours on what should have been a quick lunch time visit to get checked out. The icing on the cake was at the end when they went to collect our copays and my husband and I had different amounts. We had the same exam and tests done but his was inexplicably $20 more. We inquired as to why there was a difference and the worker just shrugged it off and refused to explain why. One woman shouted an amount across the room and it was more than my exam. We never saw an itemized list of anything, to the point that I am fully convinced that this location is a total rip off. While I am upset to say this, it’s time leave. Dr Tweed, you are an amazing eye doctor but we are going somewhere else. This location has always been a little edgy in care of the office staff but in the last few years (since a particular woman seems to have taken over leading the office staff) the quality of care and service from behind the counter has drastically declined. It’s a shame, I really like the Tweed family but I’ll go find another location for all future visits.

The staff is helpful - friendly - personable - and knowledgeable. Love my new glasses and noticed that my new lens quality is by far better than my old ones from a different retailer. Meredith & Linda are very honest when it comes to helping customers pick the right frames. I can’t imagine what it’s like for retailers in todays world having to deal with the pandemic. Just remember - they have to enforce the mandates & it’s not their fault you have to wear a mask.
