Huntington bank is terrible. Absolute crooks. There's a reason their stock price is 13$ and every other bank is well over 100$ per share. Do business with them and you'll learn the hard way. Horrible.

Deposited $400 last week, still has not cleared deposited $2000 today went to use my debit card declined called customer service they told me that because the $400 hasn’t cleared yet they have a hold on my cards even with a $2000 Dollar cash deposit they restricted my card but I can go in and cash a check for the amount that I deposited. I’ve never been with a bank that would hold a cash deposit and not being able to use my card Up to the available balance. Would not recommend this bank at all

I have been banking with them for a long tome. I had my sons college funds in a savings for almost 6 years earning no interest and other savings as well. Nobody ever offered putting my money in an account that would earn interest. I had quite a bit saved (4 years of a college university). I just went in to ask about IRA’s because I need to transfer a small amount from a 401k that I had for a year. I think because it wasn’t much they were not helpful. Very short. Little do they know I have others funds. Changing to chase soon. It’s a process but they don’t look out for their customers.

I have only had an account with Huntingon for three months but am extremely pleased with the service I've received. The staff are friendly and go out of the way to answer any and all questions. I spent at least 30 minutes today with Jackie who assisted me with my account and was even told I could bring my dog inside. ;-) What more could I ask?

Out of all the bank changes at this Grayslake location FirstMerit is by far the WORST ever. They will nickel and dime you on money you have with them. There is no free checking unless you have a $2000 min balance on all accounts and no senior checking or savings accounts. Edith is the only banker who stayed after the FirstMerit takeover. We've never had a problem with her and she's nice enough. The rest of the employees are certainly not as nice or personable as the old tellers that left. Their customer service line is an absolute joke. Their employee's will belittle and talk over you if they want to disconnect the call from you. After over ten years of banking at this location it's safe to say that we are closing our accounts and moving to another local bank.

I have used FirstMerit Bank in Grayslake for many years and have always been pleased with the service that I receive. The staff has always been very friendly and call me by first name when I go through the drive through or go into the bank, which is a nice surprise that they remember me and my name. When I have had questions and concerns with my accounts, the bank staff has been very helpful. The online banking features work very well and I would recommend this bank.

I think the first person wrote review has the same experience as I had. There is a girl in this branch named Ediet and I think she in Idiot. She is very bad temper, aggressive and doesn't know anything about customer service. She was yelling at my daughter and just knows how to say know. I don't know how they hired her to the bank because We liked the bank and cashiers are very nice people but this mad girl and manager are terrible. They turned the branch to the awful and hateful place. We closed the account because they think they own the bank. That girl should be fired and sit at home because she doesn't have curtsy, she doesn't know how to treat people and she is a trouble maker.

This bank is a good bank but the crew working here, make it terrible terrible place. I have been to other branches and they are all lovely people but in Grayslake it is different. tellers are very nice, polite and professional but the manager is terrible. Her name is Iffat and she is horrible. She doesn't know how to treat people, very very impolite and proud of herself. She even doesn't say hello or buy. She stares at you and talked directly like insulting you. I have never seen a manager for a bank like her before. She definitely is the worst manager of the bank I have ever seen in US. She thinks she owes the bank and ever other customers are her slaves! She is very very rude, unprofessional and makes first merit bank the worst experience for customers. We hate first merit bank in Grayslake
