I didn't even know this restaurant existed until our granddaughter works there now. Great service, they cater to having small children, I'm just a great bunch of Staffing. The food is great and they don't skimp on their portions. We come all the way from Clinton Iowa just to go there with our whole entire family.

My wife and I ate there. I was born/raised in Shannon, but have spent the last 20+ years in Lake in the Hills. (Suburb of Chicago. Prices were very reasonable. ( cheap compared to where we live. Food tasted great. Service was spot on. The only minor complaint was my meal came with a salad which I never received. Honestly no big deal as I was full without it.

Friendly staff and pretty good food for a small town restaurant! Only issue is the wait times can change drastically depending on who your server is.

It is a clean place with good food. The staff was pleasant. They add a charge if you use a credit/debit card. If I would have known that, I would have paid cash. There is a small sign, yet it is not prominent.

Food is amazing! Very fairly priced for what you get. Staff is always nice as usual, soup as hot and fresh and sandwiches are amazing. Small little restaurant but packs a large punch. Definitely a place to stop if you’re in the area.

Breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly. The only problem was that we found a small hair in the hash brown. The server was very nice about it and brought to to the owners attention. All I expected was an apology or at least recognition of the problem, but the owner didn’t bother to even come over.

First time here was amazing! The best waitress (Wendy) went out of her way :) Second time was kinda disappointing with confused waitress, but it was OK. Food was amazing both times!!! PS: they didn’t have cheesecake :(

Brothers Inn is the classic Americana Family owned one-off diner by the side of the highway done right! These types of places have always been my favourite. Everywhere I eat breakfast as we travel the country I order the same thing and let the server and the cook figure out where it might or might not, land on the menu. I'm very picky with my breakfast and it has to be done exactly the way I like it in order for me to enjoy it. This is what I order... Three eggs very soft, Sunny Side Up on top of two pieces of unbuttered white toast. The whites of eggs have to be very slightly runny and the Yoke cannot be cooked at all. I also order crispy bacon and crispy hash browns. There's about a 30% track record of getting my order perfect and Brothers Inn did it flawlessly.
