My aunt lives there and not only do they not have a wheelchairs to help handicapped customers. A clerk was also extremely rude and literally told her caregiver "you should shop closer to where you live."

Been going here for years. Recently I came a little late (customers still in store). I went to get dryer sheets. An elderly teller who I've noticed is rude for sometime put her hand in my face to tell me they were closed. I get it...youre closed but treat your customers better. There's also a young man there that can't figure out how to remove security tags from clothing items. Hes worked there for over a year and refuses to remove the tags so dont bother buying underwear or undershirts if he's working. Basically...good luck

One of the larger Dollar General stores I've been in. You'll need the app to get any kind of decent price. Milk and supplements are crazy overpriced else we would had given a 5 star.

They’re pretty much always cluttered and crowded. It’s rare they actually have something I need out on the shelf if they even have it at all. Their customer service used to be ok, but recently it’s gotten pretty bad.

Found what we were looking for. Over the course of 12 hours we had been to at least 8 or more stores. From Lanark Il to Freeport Il. To Mt. Carroll Il. , Savanna and finally Lena. Found them at every other location .

Received a $5 off $25 coupon earlier this week. Had them before and they're always effective for the following Saturday. After picking up $30-$40 worth of items I was about to check out. Then found the coupon was for next Sat. June 1st. I then just apologized and said I didn't need any of my items right now anyway. Left them on counter and didn't buy anything. Would have been nice if they would have made a one time exception since they changed their routine. Don't know if I'll bother going back next Saturday.

Convenient stop for all your basic needs. They offer housewares, toys, books, pet supplies, and health supplies. The staff is very friendly and knowlegable and can make great suggestions if they don't carry what you are looking for. The store is pretty heavily stocked and they are always restocking items on the shelves. They are always there to help you and assist as needed. One of the best places to find back to school supplies.

This store has friendly, helpful cashiers, a good selection of household items, baby needs, beauty items, dry goods, some refrigerated and frozen foods, and cleaners. There are also seasonal decorations, candy, and foods. Parking can be tricky in the small lot, but it is wheelchair accessible, once you get up the steepvdriveway. The heavy doors are not mechanical, and there are no outside cart racks, which makes it harder to shop with infants.

The store was nice but the girl who checked me out was terrible! Picking her teeth, no greeting and then just dumped my change in my general direction. My change fell all over the counter.

This is a amazing little dollar store for a small community. It is basically a small department store. Has clothing, food, house supplies, everything you would expect from a large box store just on a much smaller scale. The food selection is what i enjoy the most. Dollar generals are packed full of great snacks everywhere you look. They carry shopping carts witch makes the shopping experience much greater. Staff is very friendly but i do find at times that there gossip amount there piers is very loud and the public can here. Its never good to hear negative comments about employees coming out of other employees mouths right in front of customers. They also like to talk about problems in the store in front of customers witch i believe is a item you discuss behind closed doors. Overall its a great place to pick up needed items and is typically cheaper then Sullivans down the road.
