Thanksgiving 2018 buffet was disappointing to say the least. We made reservations at 2pm which should have been discounted because it seemed like the food wasn't being refilled from that point moving forward. There was maybe one or two leaflets of lettuce left in the salad bar bowl and was never refilled, the gravy was almost gone (not refilled) and looked like it had been sitting for a while. Last year there was shrimp and oysters and the overall presentation of the buffet was very classy. This year there was cod on the hot bar and a small plate of salmon on the cold bar. The piece of pumpkin torte that I picked from the dessert table was frozen in the middle. Our server was useless. It took him over 10 minutes to come to our table and greet us to take our drink order. 3 of us ordered bloody Mary's from the bar which we saw the bartender make, set on the bar and get watered down while our server stood there talking. Meanwhile we sat there eating with nothing to drink (not even water which my brother requested twice. When the waiter finally brought the bloody marys (after someone got up and asked him for them) he proceeded to apologize for the wait and said he had to go "chase down my bartender". Which would have been a fine excuse had we not been sitting right next to the bar and could clearly see that he was lying. We won't be back. I thought this was going to become a tradition and I was looking forward to it based off of last year's experience but was totally disappointed.

Went on the first open weekend of this year, carts were allowed at 90 Degrees a couple weeks after 8 inches of snow melted. Incredibly well designed course both for fun as well as practicality. Large greens and large fairways allow for many different styles of play, and the greens roll very true. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Pace of play was excellent for a booked up day. Prevailing winds can change your round faster than you can say "fore". Would definitely drive 2 hours again to play here.

Disappointed for a few reasons. 1) At this price, I expect no crabgrass in the rough. Especially by the greens. 2) Different sand depths in different bunkers. 3) No water coolers at all. I could live with all 3 issues at lower tier courses but not here. When you charge top tier prices, there are expectations. At is stands, it feels like a money grab.

Great course, well maintained. Golf shop staff were very courteous and welcoming. Beautiful clubhouse and patio. Ranger on the first tee (older gentleman) was rude which is unfortunate. Other than that highly recommend this course.

If you are in the Peoria Illinois area you want to put this golf course on on your list to play if you love links-style golf courses! Will not let you down in difficulty playing the course well worth the money they charge! They have a great restaurant friendly staff an excellent food. Played here with our men's league I have to say I was well impressed some great views on the golf course from the clubhouse to the 1st.Tee Box and back to the last 18th tee box.

Used Metamora Fields for our wedding reception. As soon as we walked into the ballroom, my (now) wife knew immediately that this was where she wanted to hold our reception. The is a ton of natural light, beautiful chandeliers, and a great view of the course. I won't say this was the most cost effective option, but we got what we paid for and couldn't be happier. We initially worked with Lisa when walking through the initial details for our reception. A couple of months after signing our contract, we found out Lisa had moved on and would be replaced by Emily. We were very concerned as Lisa was a BIG reason we selected Metamora Fields. Thankfully, Emily came in and was WONDERFUL to work with. She was very patient with my wife and I as we bounced back and forth with ideas and had endless questions. She was on top of the details and had great suggestions that improved upon our original plan. The day of the reception, everything was perfect. The room was set up just how we wanted, the food was wonderful, the service (bartenders & servers) were perfect. Many of our guests stated it was the BEST reception they had ever been to. We couldn't have had such a great time if it weren't for Emily and her team. My wife and I absolutely recommend using Metamora for a reception or larger party. Emily and team will take great care of you!

Course is in good shape every year. Just started working with staff on planning a wedding there as well. Very helpful and very nice people there. Open to helping with all needs and also very accommodating to requests and questions. Very well organized and experienced staffing that we have worked with. Looking forward to the big day at such a beautiful venue.

The course itself is great. Always well manicured, and the layout is tough but enjoyable. However, we were playing on a hot day and all the water jugs had brownish water in them. We told clubhouse attendant and he blew us off. We all ordered bottles of water at the turn considering the brown water and instead of comping us the water he charged is. I thought that was piss poor. A golf course that charges $58 for a round should have clean water available.

Heard lots of great things about this course, got the chance to play it for the 1st time today and was not disappointed!! Well-manicured from tee-to-green w/ large very difficult greens. Lots of 2 & 3 tiered greens made it challenging but without feeling like a putt-putt circus. Looking fwd to playing it again! Highly recommend (7.7 handicap index)
