Road trip stop- Stopped for gas and ended up eating at the diner, so glad we did! Thoroughly enjoyed it!

They do not make diners like this anymore. My husband and I were traveling through on a cross-country move and stopped here on a whim. Amazing home-cooked EVERYTHING! We ordered Reuben’s and they were SO GOOD! Homemade potato salad was also excellent. Super bummed we didn’t get any cinnamon rolls for the road. We will definitely stop here again when driving back to visit family.

Stop! Check this diner out! Hand breaded tenderloins and onion rings, fresh cut fries, thick beautiful tomato slices. Awesome wait staff. You will not leave hungry.

Small town Cafe in a gas station. Wife could not finish her meal after seeing how dirty it was. Servers wiping tables with dirty rags, licking fingers, not washing hands then touching customer plates.

I had fried chicken and I got 1 whole napkin! And it was the kind of napkin that sticks to your fingers and shreds into little pieces when you're eating fried chicken. And the chicken was barely any good. I got a dinner roll. Pretty good but it was served cold. Also flavorless mashed potatoes with really strongly flavored gravy. Checking out with a debit/credit card was a challenge. 3 of us in a row had difficulty. Something wrong there somewhere. Would like to like this place but I really don't. More capable restaurants with much better food just up the interstate going west. UPDATE: Now that I've been out of here for ½-hour, I'm noticing a strange, unpleasant taste in my mouth. Unidentifiable. AND I'm still hungry. Going someplace else for more food. And to kill this taste. Hoping I won't be throwing up tomorrow.

Great small town diner! Very friendly people, excellent food and great specials. They also make terrific deli sandwiches to go. Can't pass up this place anytime I'm traveling through.

Great atmosphere and service in the middle of a road trip. Greenville volunteer FD person recommended we try a Horseshoe (pork tenderloin served open face with fried and cheese on top!) and the Skee (Ski?! A citrus style soda) drink, both area flavors. Biscuits are flaky.
