If you want authentic Mexican food, this is the place. This is my top place in the area, especially around Corydon and outside of the New Albany/Jeff area. The tacos are great, but the tamales are where it's at. She makes a lot of them, and you can purchase them for home. I haven't had a good option for that since leaving Texas. And even a lot of locals aren't aware that it's there. Plus, it's also a small grocery.

Authentic Mexican food in our beautiful Hometown of Corydon. Delicioso and Excellente!! Much much better than the more "Americanized" Mexican restaurants around this town! It's my favorite place to eat in Corydon!

Make no mistake. This is THE best place to eat in Corydon and the most authentic mexican restaurant you'll find in the area. Please go on Thursday and try the Verde tamales. They're worth waiting all week for!
