Didn’t realize when you ask for the price on a car they have to run your credit multiple times for each car you like to get your “best approval odds”. Ended up signing papers for none of it to be what we were told. I was told 11% interest but on the contract I’m at 13% especially when I have a 750 credit score the interest is insane. Was also told the extra 9,000 was an estimate for the interest over time turns out it’s not. It’s the fee the bank lenders charge for financing your car. Also the day after getting the car it had check engine light on. Brake fluid light came on and had to fill it multiple times. The key fob is at 0%. Thankfully Justin did do us right and let us take it to a dealership to get work on it. It had brake fluid dripping straight into the caliber. Overall this car isn’t worth the 20,000. Most cars there had check engine lights on. Who knows minor issues or major. But if you’re driving off the lot with that big of new debt the cars should be ready to go. So now this 20,000 car is 30,000 with the bank fee and then whatever interest accumulates. If I would’ve known any of this going in I would’ve left with my car and money in my pocket. Unfortunately there’s no getting out of the contract. Please learn from me and make sure you ask all the questions and read between the lines.

First car I bought from Grote was a great salesman and great experience. Just recently bought another. The salesman lied continuously. His name is Rodney I believe. Cat hasn’t been cleaned yet & needed front brakes. He verbally promised a free oil change, front brakes and car detail. I wouldn’t have bought this car for $20k had I known Grote would allow this. i have a disabled husband and daughter and I trusted Grote. never thought they’d be like this but Never again!! I’ve warmed all my people

Our Sale consultant, Shane Nicholson, was the most amazing person ever. We had a really bad experience with a prior dealership and we were kind of deflated and didn't expect much coming into Grote.
