Update: Once again it's 8:02 when I stop by and the employees are already outside smoking when they just opened, then I have to stand around and wait on them to come back in! Horribly ran DG!! They are always closed before closing time, huge inconvenience for the ones who work 10-12 hours a day! The employees are always outside smoking cigarettes instead of working. They might as well close the place if it's never open!!

The new dollar general.. sigh.. well its new.. the associates and the computer system obviously are at odds and check out process has been excruciating three out of three times.. dont expect coupons or app to work or expect the associates to be able to ring you out.. but its new..

I will not even give this one star if this rating didn't require one. Went to get a small bag of ice. After 20 minutes and the "manager" as she called herself said she was to busy to unlock the ice and get my ice that I paid for I ended up leaving without getting my money back because she was so rude. I won't go there again as long as she works there. By the way I am in this store at least once a week and I know the manager.

Store manager (Linda) takes pride in what she does and she does it well!! She has product knowledge, inventory knowledge, very personable, and knows the new sales. Staff changes often but they get the hang of it pretty quickly. Locked bathrooms but clean just ask for the key. Large franchise business with a small town feel.
