The workers and management are fine its the company its self that is terrible. There is only ever one person at the register so it takes forever to check out and they are expected to stock the store while running the register. So you have to ring a bell and wait for someone to come to the register which creates a huge line. They stretch their workers way to thin and its truely sad. No wonder I have watched a huge turnover in employees there.

Most unorganized overtop Frayed on the floor along the back aisles down aisles. Shelves were disorganized bear Halloween wasn't priced only on if the item had a price it was disgusting

Great store that has a little bit of everything! Perfect in the Summer for last minute things to avoid the traffic to the other stores.

I so badly want to give this place more than 3 stars but I just can't. It's mediocre but the locals are all thankful for an option besides driving all the way to walmart or making do with the limited selection of the local grocery store. Not to mention a redbox that's a good perk for a small town!

Pretty decent location for Dollar General, albeit rather busy. The aisles are pretty narrow, so if you take a cart and meet another, passing one another becomes interesting. The location is the best attribute here, making general store items much closer than heading to Spirit Lake. The employees are pleasant for the most part and the store is kept well organized and tidy. I find it rather odd that you must get a key from the cashier in order to use their restrooms considering they're indoors and it's a newer store in s small town.

Eh... the "clearance" items are a joke. If you're in the same town as Dollar Tree, shop there. Dollar General, you aren't always getting a good deal... do your research! Walmart: Betty Crocker Cake Mix $0.99 Dollar Tree: $1.00 Dollar General: $1.75 Careful!

This was a great store, had a variety of clothes which was nice because I needed a pair of shorts and they had just what I was looking for. I browsed and found more items I wanted too. Great prices!

Do NOT shop at stores that force sick employees to wotk or fire them, this is how cold and flu season gets worse and its an abhorrent practice. The prices are actually higher than Walmart because all they do is round the price to the whole dollar, you are literally paying more for their "dollar" gimmick and the quality is far less some how. Food often seems stale or close to it, the good coolers dont stay cold. Between firing employees for being sick (with dr. Note) and the issues with food temperature it seems as if this company wants you to get sick!

I honestly like the store but I feel bad for the employees. They all have to try to stock shelves while running the front. It's huge store for these people to try to watch and do the rest at the same time. I'm curious the amount of retail that goes missing because staff is always too busy restocking than watching the front. Ps bathrooms are usually really gross and it's dumb you need a key.

Low prices and a "you get what you pay for" environment. Don't buy groceries there, I think the milk is expired when it comes off the truck or 1-2 days after. Still stop there for convenience though.
