My favorite thing on the menu is the chicken fried chicken, it is absolutely delicious. Also, it is a large portion so bring your appetite!

Greatest little secret in Southwest Iowa is in the community of Tabor. Yeya's Scratch Kitchen is a favorite of everyone! Home cooked meals of both traditional American and Mexican selections are generous and satisfying. A must try for everyone!

Our first trip to Yeya's last week was great! We've wanted to try it since moving to the area but they are cash or check only so we had to plan ahead. Great local place!

Food was delicious and definitely made from scratch! Fast service, clean, moderately busy. The only unpleasantness was the lady taking care of us. No greetings, no smile even when complimented about the food. I will eat there again and recommend it to my friends and family. Maybe I can get her to smile next time.😉

Didnt Get to try the food ,I hear it's great! Especially the tenderloin. But they only take checks or cash just know that before you go. We didn't have either.

Found this little gem while I was wandering around on my vacation. It's easy to miss but worth finding. I had the chicken fried chicken dinner and I couldn't have asked for a better meal. From the mashed potatoes, to the fried chicken and the gravy in between. Every bight was delicious. This plate would be $12-$13 at any major chain restaurant, and you would be lucky if it was as flavorful. Bottom line, if you find yourself in the area you'd do yourself a favor by stopping in

The service was great. The atmosphere was nice - I like how they have wall divided booths for tables. I ordered the steak fajita salad and it was delicious. It was on iceburg lettuce and I would have liked an option for a spring mix. FYI - the wheelchair accessible entrance is in the back off the alley.

Food was great and the prices, although they didn't line up with what was on the menu, were real reasonable, so could not complain. I believe I read somewhere on their Facebook, that they had to add a temporary surcharge to their prices due to costs fluctuating. So more than likely that is the cause for the difference. I do not believe they take credit cards, so come with cash or check. Would eat here again in the future. I also noted that they seem to have a great relationship with Meg's Bar across the street. Awesome, seeing two restaurants in a small town work so well together.

Always a great, hot, from-scratch meal and great prices! Their chicken parm is wonderful, as is everything else. Nothing fancy, but so, so good! Worth the drive from across the river!
