I honestly think all McDonald's are the same. There was a cashier at the front but was either going on break or just refused to move or serve my son and I. Someone from the back finally greeted us and took our order. Sadly this is not the first McDonald's I've encountered with this kind of service.

Did drive through pick up. Did not get burgers. Did not realize this until was headed home to Tonganoxie. Too far out of Leavenworth and on a time frame to go back. So that was an expensive order of fries and coke. Disappointing.

This evening at 9:20pm I called to make sure their dining room was open. I was told it was open until 10pm. I spoke to a woman who said her name was Vanessa and who said she was the manager. I drove to the restaurant and parked at 9:35pm. I walked to the door and it was locked. I called them and the same woman answered. I explained that I had just called and was told that the dining room was open until 10pm. She said that they had to close because they are short staffed. I asked how she could possibly not have known that when I called only 15 minutes ago. She hung up on me. I called back and she hung up again. I went to Wendy's and will NEVER eat at McDonald's again. I used to eat at this restaurant 10-15 times a week. This is the next day, and I just saw a TikTok video about a girl who was closing a McDonald's by herself and three men were hiding in the store at closing. I never understood why fast food places close their dining room when short staffed. Now I get it. I still wish she would have told me they were closing their dining room early, but I have a different perspective on this issue now. I'm changing my review from one to two stars. She shouldn't have hung up on me, but they were busy and short staffed. At least they stayed open for the drive thru.

I ordered the large double quarter meal with some extras, but I wind up getting the 3 large fries instead. I would drive back to correct my order, but I didn't get the receipt from them. I'm not going back there for a while.

After a few bites, I noticed how mushy the burger was. When I looked at the burger, I discovered it was raw. I got sick. I called the management team, but was treated rudely and with disrespect. It was not worth the effort for me to drive back and request for a refund. Check your food and do not go to this McDonald.
