How is it that the best Kroger in the area has the absolute worst pharmacy. Long lines. Nothing is ever filled. So back waiting in yet more long lines. Called prescriptions last week and still not filled. Never had this happen with a pharmacy. It’s always like this too. Trust the reviews.

This pharmacy is ridiculously unorganized. You call to get a prescription refilled and they will say it will be ready the next day but then you go to pick it up and then they say oh it won't be ready till the next day and then I mentioned that's for my wife's seizures and they said oh we can have it in 30 minutes but they just told us they can't have it ready till the next day... What kind of people are running this pharmacy it is very unprofessional and ridiculous.... Me and my wife are switching to another pharmacy one that's a little more professionally organized and I advise others to do the same.

Service is poor due to staffing is hearing and disrespectful towards deaf customer. Do not offer a service to communicate or have a staff knows sign language to better the experience. It makes other customers wonder why they put up getting prescriptions there and go to another for a well atmosphere. Just because a person may have a disability doesn't mean they get to be treated badly, disregard or out of disrespect. Be accountable.

I have always brought my prescriptions at Kroger Newport Pharmacy. Even when they are obviously short-staffed, the pharmacist Kristen B greets me and asks how I’m doing. Mallory helped me today at the register and she was so nice. The staffing situation in this current market is not the fault of the staff working there, so I always try to be empathetic to their situation and thankful that I always have a positive experience with them when I do need to pick up prescriptions. Working retail in the past gives you a different perspective on how to treat people willing to work in any retail or customer based setting.

Recently they have had no staff to work the drive thru window so they force everyone to come inside and wait ungodly amounts of time. Doesn’t matter what time of day it is the drive thru won’t be open and the line will be endless. I’d recommend going elsewhere for your prescriptions.

I don’t know if they are overwhelmed, mismanaged or both. There are much better Kroger pharmacies in NKY. Avoid this one at all costs. Follow-up: Leaving this Pharmacy (and Family Physician) as soon as I get this last refill. Maybe this is my fault for not researching the providers in my network more diligently. Please take caution using this pharmacy.

Horrible service. Came in to fill 3 prescriptions. Checked with drop off to assure all was input properly and was brushed aside. Was told they would be ready within an hour. Came back an hour later and was told only one was ready and it would be another hour wait.

The pharmacy techs at this store are unprofessional, incompetent and rude. Never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect. Do not fill your prescriptions here, I’m worried they might accidentally kill you.

Easily the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. All of the female staff comes off as if you are a bother to them, one even was talking badly about my doctor to my face because she wrote “30 tablets” instead of 28 tablets on my prescription.. extremely unprofessional and even after my continued silence she continued to be rude. Several times I have gotten a text saying my prescriptions are ready, but when I get there I’m told they are not and it will be a 30 minute wait?? No apology for any type of wait, only reason I continue to go there is because it is the closest to my house.

This is the slowest pharmacy around. I've had fairly poor experiences (here) in the past, but today is even more so. My doctor called in a script at noon. I came into Kroger at 1:30 and was told that they "prioritize" prescriptions, so mine was not yet done. I was told to give it 25 minutes. After coming back at 2:10, they said it wouldn't be ready till 2:45. I mentioned that I was told 25 minutes. Instead of apologizing, the person started asking me who told me that. The girl next to her kept saying " it wasn't me. They were looking for someone to blame.
