Best soul food restaurant in Center Point, Alabama (AL) 2024

If you're going on a Sunday, pack your patience. The line was out the door but it was oh so worth it. This is a small soul food restaurant that serves huge portions at a more than reasonable price. The side selections were pretty typical for Sunday dinner and packed with flavor. I ordered the baked chicken -dark with greens, Mac n cheese, dressing and cornbread. When I tell you these greens were so good... I didn't put my fork down until I finished. The Mac n cheese was both creamy and stretchy, the dressing was just ok but not bad and the baked chicken was AHmazing! There was so much food on the plate, the rest will be for another meal. The staff was friendly, the food was fresh and it was everything I needed for a Sunday afternoon. Try this place!!!!! We got two meals for $25 and I ordered an extra side. ~Victoria
