6 Best grocery store in Tuscaloosa, Alabama (AL) 2024

WHAT HAPPENED?! ALDI was my go-to for things like produce, but today seems to be a disaster for them. I walk in to buy strawberries and every single container had rotten ones or ones with mold on them. On top of that, in the aisle where the squash was, there was food infested by bugs. Disgusting!! You can expect I stuck to purchasing the packaged goods, but if you see food with the white fluff coating it, avoid it! I can only assume this was a bad day because I had no problems shopping here initially, but WOW this is bad and could lead to some people getting sick. ~Milky

It's not well put together. It doesn't have a deli anymore nor bakery. All of the prepackaged baked goods look so cheaply made. Some of the prices are good but nothing I can't get elsewhere. It's very close to our house but I've only been there 3 times. My husband stops by there pretty often for their drink specials (coke/Pepsi products) but that's about it. Store could be kept up better. Floors have always been dirty the times I've been there and my husband says the same. ~Loretta

1st time visit.Have riding carts,handicapped parking.Store stocked to max.Deli has anything you want,hot and cold case.Meats show cased you pick out what you want.Some seasoned in pans.Pizza cooked on site.Each area have someone working.No waiting at register.Interesting store.Was in there a min.looking.Only thing items a little more pricy than couple stores I shop.Enjoyed it. ~Me

I would give 0 stars of possible. I received a $10 off a purchase of $50 in the mail. The store would not accept my coupon because I don't have a rewards card. I have signed up for the rewards card twice in the past, but it doesn't work. The manager offered to sign me up a third time. What's the point? There is obviously an error in the system if it requires multiple times to actually register. I wasted time, energy, and gas to get nothing from this store. ~Renee
