Dollar General

For the last 6 or 7 months I have had to holler for somebody to check me out most times I have been there. I am guessing this store is severely understaffed. There seems to be only one person stocking and checking people out. Sometimes I have to holler 2 or 3 times to get anybody at the register. This store must experience a lot of theft with people just walking out the door with products. ~CrosleyCrew

Sears Hometown Store

The home we purchased had a 24 inch cabinet oven mounted a couple of feet off the floor. We wanted to add a full size oven that would fit beneath the already installed cooktop. Owner Billy Morrison did a substantial amount of research to find a replacement cooktop and 30 inch oven that would fit perfectly. It is great to deal with a locally owned store that goes above and beyond to provide excellent service! ~David

Miller True Value Hardware

I moved to the area 3 years ago. Miller has a saw shop with all the big brands, service, parts and the staff used to be good. However, their service prices and turnaround times are unreasonable. The staff has become rude. Also, if you aren't a small engine mechanic, don't buy parts from them. I can't say for sure, but or some reason, I go in and ask for a part, for example, a recoil spring for my weed eater. I provide the model number and they gave me the wrong part. So I'm out money for a part I can't use or return. Kinda like the wrong chainsaw parts they sold me. Management is no help. I will never set foot in the store again. The only useful thing in the store is their nuts and bolts and the guy there is great. Too bad the saw shop is a good ol' boys club and they would rather discuss a farmer buying a chainsaw than serve the forestry industry with the stuff we need to survive. ~Wayne
