A magical little spot in Chester, CA. My wife and I enjoyed a black coffee with our breakfast (Rusty Roof Coffee). I'm told that it was local roster. I was tempted to take advantage of the free refills! We really loved the attached bookstore and the gorgeous atmosphere. I enjoyed one of their corned beef dishes, made with their own home made corned beef, while my wife enjoyed a wonderful goat cheese and spinach scramble. Tucked away in the indoor window seating made for a wonderful little stop in the mountains. If you get the chance, we encourage a visit! ~Christopher

I love all the employees outgoing helpful, sorry to see Stephanie leave she was always so wonderful! However I do feel that corporate needs to give them better labor hour cost. Not to have customers waiting 13 deep. Because the employees are so funny loving and great with the customers, nobody really gets mad comments are heard. ~TAMARA

Pretty clean and well stocked with food and other road trip necessities. Plenty of gas pumps no waiting. Bathrooms are decent. Nice stop. ~bartellj

Fantastic store! I went in today for a couple things and right when I walked in the door, several Ace people welcomed me with smiles and offered to help. Annika was wonderful, she helped me find exactly what I was hoping for and she was able to give me first hand experience advice on the hand tool I purchased. She also helped me find things I didn't need lol but will be so helpful in the future. Great people working here. Great store, nicely displayed and fun to look around and shop. Also great products. I was invited to the Blue Goose open house on the "First Saturday" of the month. I was enthralled by the lovely art art work in every medium imaginable. Some of the pieces were things that I had never seen before. They filled the walls and shelves. I had the opportunity to meet the artists and learn about their creative process. It was a wonderful night. I still have images swirling in my head of the beautiful and high caliber artwork. This is absolutely the best art gallery with the most variety that I have ever visited. I can still feel the passion of the artists. They are not in it for the money, they are in it for their own satisfaction of the creative process. ~Pat
