Nice people, let me shop and answered my questions even though it was past closing time. I only found out about them from another woman, after we were both turned away from the Loma store up the street that closed 15 min early.
I helped them get added to Google Maps so I can find them next time! I had bought organic vegan masa from Flacos in Berkeley and needed banana leaves to make tamales.
In case you’re curious, I used No Evil brand Zapatista seitan chorizo, potatoes, roasted green chilis and Miyoko’s vegan mozzarella for the filling.
Oh, and I also found out about Mashan leaves, another plant leaf I can use to wrap tamales! ~T
