7-Eleven

At any 7/11, a happy employee is hard to find. Tonight I was treated like a nuisance while picking out the snacks, food and beverages that I wanted. I was not taking long at all, and three times the cashier lazily yelled at me, what are you doing, what do you need, and kept scoffing. I came back into to get smokes and he immediately scoffed again And said what do you want? And refused to switch out the wrong cigarettes that he and grabbed and threw A tantrum over me asking for a receipt. Thoroughly disgusted with this guy ~Blake

El Taco Del Mar Mexican Grill

Drive thru with no speaker. Gal at window barely opened window like I was going to rob her...its noon. Then man comes to window, maybe owner, and charges me 25$ for 2 chile verde burritos. They were so......spicy we couldnt eat but a little. Mostly rice, hardly no meat. Very disappointed. We only stopped there when Juanita's was opening too late for us..big mistake. A waste of 25$ never again ~Deborah

SLO Auto Sales

Dion and his wife Olga were pretty cool people. I bought a truck from them a couple of weeks ago and the process was friendly and easy. I walked in ,chose a truck and made a cash transaction on the spot. I stopped at a few places around town that day and all the salesmen were just jerks. Olga does all the paperwork for you, no hassle at dmv, which is always nice. My whole experience was an A+. ~Erin

Foster's Donuts

Friendliest donut shop in the area. The person behind the counter never fails to make great suggestions based off what you have already chosen. He's also considerate of younger children who are shy and kindly encourages them chose a donut of their own. My wife and I would drive two hours to come to this donut shop during her pregnancy. Now the habit remains and we still venture out here at least once a month for donuts. ~Ludwig

Cuts & Co.

I took my son here one time last year and they did an amazing job. He has sensory issues with the buzzer and the woman who cut his hair did an amazing job with just scissors. I’ve tried to take him back here at least 3 times since but since they are so popular and don’t take appointments every time we go they are booked already and I can’t get him in again. So the one time we went was great and I wish I could get him back in but we keep having to go to other places because they seem to always be booked. I totally recommend this place for kids if you can get in. Service: Haircut ~Arla

La Casita Mexican Restaurant

Overpriced and disappointing. The server was extremely friendly and attentive, but it did not make up for the poor quality of the food. I asked for shredded beef, and it was just small chunks, almost ground beef. Lacked flavor so I had to douse it in hot sauce. It said it comes with a side of rice and beans. Nope, that was just stuffed inside the chimichanga. Tiny amount of sour cream and guacamole. I felt ripped off ~Dalia
