Best outdoor sports store in Mammoth Lakes, California (CA) 2024

I stopped by Wednesday amidst a very rainy afternoon to find out about a kayak rental to take myself and my dog out. Talked to Missy, came back the next day with clear skies and perfect weather, rented the kayak, got an auto air pump, and life vest, and quick tutorial, took the kayak out for half a day and spent a gorgeous day on Lake Mary. We had such a wonderful time, and so grateful to ASO for making that happen! We will definitely come back to rent from ASO again. They are friendly and helpful and great prices (I checked online other kayak rentals, this was truly the best deal). ~Amanda

FYI ***GO HERE FOR BEST PRICES*** Rented 2 bikes here on 7/26/22. A total of 3 different employees were part of the process. Each one provided excellent customer service, even helping us figure out the best way to transport bicycles in the back of our truck (without scratching etc). Prices were competitive and actually better than the others out there around town. Plus, the helmets provided were at no cost. Even the bike lock was no extra charge. Bicycles were Cannondale and in excellent condition. We were at Twin Lakes, Lake Mary etc. the entire day. Drop off was also super easy and literally only took less than a minute, or two at most.Will definitely return to this agency next time we're in town. Great experience. Thanks you guys for making our trip to Mammoth that much better. ~J
