I was referred here when my dog's vet found some signs of an infection in his tooth. The waiting list was insane but from the sound of it, they're really busy because there are only 3 animal dental clinics in the Bay Area. When I finally got Bear in for a consultation, Dr. Farcas was wonderful. He explained everything and lavished compliments about Bear. He was incredibly thorough with his explanations and the possible courses of treatment. Months later during the actual procedure (a root canal), Dr. Farcas called me before getting started to let me know that the infection was most likely from before I got Bear. I got emotional thinking about the pain he's been in and Dr. Farcas showed empathy and explained to me that the cost would go up due to the extent of the infection. He gave me the choice of a total tooth extraction to reduce the cost and told me about the impact of both procedures. Given how stressful this was for me, Dr. Farcas and the clinic were wonderful in giving me lots of information, but enough to make a good decision. I would absolutely recommend them. It was expensive, but I think worth the kind of care and compassion he showed to me and my dog. ~Christian
