I only shop local small businesses. The reason is by doing so I am supporting local folks who employ other local folks. Typically the environment is caring and compassionate. Which is exactly what you get shopping at Haynes Ace Hardware in Oxford. I needed Cabot paint to repaint my barn. I had old obsolete color numbers and no name. I spoke to Danielle by telephone, she assured me by shopping in we'd get the matches and we did. She even stayed a few minutes after closing to accommodate me. Such a pleasant young woman. While we were doing the paint she was training a young lady. The kind, reassuring and caring way Danielle spoke to this young lady was also such a beautiful thing to witness.
