Nutrition coaching as been a complete game changer for me. While the accountability has been helpful during times of stress, I've found the most value with someone I can talk to weekly and get suggestions that are personalized for me and my family. This has helped me build healthy habits that extend beyond discussions my coach and I have. I have come to realize (and set myself up for success) by intentionally making decisions that support my goals. I found HSN 6 months ago and I've found myself more empowered with a coach than without. I see it as my coach is there to guide me, but I'm definitely in the driver's seat. There's no set meal plans, you can eat things you enjoy (in moderation), and learn to make adjustments that help meet your goals. For anyone looking to start a program like this, I would say the biggest reason for success is consistency, not perfection! I've seen ups and downs in my progress, but overall being consistent with the guidelines my coach has established has yielded results which are more consistently than when I was doing it on my own. Lastly, I would say nutrition coaching is helpful to ground yourself in reality. Parties come up, work gets busy, injuries happen, and it's during these unplanned events when it's most important to lean into your coach to get you through whatever it is you're going through. That way you can get out on the other side, focus on the successes and bright spots, and find yourself stronger afterwards. ~Coleen
